Samsung confirms release date of the new Galaxy S24

The event will take place in San Jose, California, but will be livestreamed worldwide. Although the name Galaxy S24 is not explicitly mentioned in the teasers, the presence of “Galaxy AI” suggests the introduction of various artificial intelligence tools during the event, as also hinted in recent leaks.

Expectations are that the Galaxy S24 lineup will include the S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra, offering various features and colors. Additionally, Samsung might surprise consumers with the release of additional products, such as the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

As shown in the event teasers, the South Korean company is expected to highlight AI-powered features, such as real-time translation during calls and improvements in zoom for low-light images, as well as intelligent image editing tricks based on generative AI. According to a Samsung statement:
“The new Galaxy S lineup will set a higher standard for the smartest mobile experience yet. […] Join us as we unveil the latest premium innovations from the Galaxy lineup, providing an entirely new mobile experience driven by Artificial Intelligence.”

I just googled smallest phones 2023, it seems that the smallest size considered now is 6.1", aside from the fold phones. The iPhone SE that I like is 4.7"

I think the 4.7" is just the diagonal size of the screen, and does not include the bezels at the top and bottom of the device.

Medyo nag mahal sya conaored sa launch ng s23 series. I assume konti lang ibababa ng s23 pag dating ng s24. At this point, wala na saysay mag update every year or even 2 years. I'll be using my current Samsung for at least 5 years. Maybe even more kung ma replace ko battery nito with original battery after few years.

I'll be using my current Samsung for at least 5 years. Maybe even more kung ma replace ko battery nito with original battery after few years.

Sakto sa 2027 when EU requirement will surely trickle down to all markets at user replaceable na batteries.

It's replacing my still-pristine S21, which I will hand down to my son to replace his worse-for-wear OnePlus Nord CE. Ironically, my S21 is 6 months older than his Nord CE, but mine could still pass up as new.

I heard it's more expensive than the 23 ultra because of the cost of AI feature. Give us a feedback of this feature if you can.

Only the S24 Ultra increased in price compared to the S23 Ultra at release time. I only got the cheapest of the bunch... the standard S24.

Ako naman I'm happy with the regular S23 or S24 but my problem is I want an S Pen kasi naka Note ako since I started using Smart phones. I don't need the specs of the S23 ultra naman, I just want the pen. Anyway, sana tumagal pa buhay ng Note ko pero hinahanda ko na rin sarili ko kasi ang bilis na ma drain ng battery

My kid didn't want the S21 so I traded it in for extra credits.
