^ Beyond miniaturization, the higher the frequency, the higher the available bandwidth, the more subscribers you can cram for a given facility (ie. Cell site).
Anything between 300MHz to 300GHz is microwave. That includes most consumer devices that uses RF to communicate; RC toys, WiFi, Bluetooth, mobile devices (GSM/LTE/4G), 2-way radios, wirelss microphones, wireless phones, navigation equipment (GPS/GLONASS), Radar, satellite and terrestrial communications, et al.
So 24x7, we're constantly blanketed by microwave energy. But unless you live accross a radar antenna facility, the radiations are relatively weak and safe. The amount of RF your mobile phone makes is technically a drop in the ocean.

Indeed, the risk of radiation is a function of the amount of energy emitted and the distance a subject is to the source of radiation.
A cellphone is primarily designed to transmit and receive voice, then data as basic as text and in todays modern cellphones known as smartphone information as heavy as videos
An idle cellphone seems harmless as it emits less radiation when the user is not talking or transmiting voice information. The danger is more telling when a person talk a lot because thats when cellphones transmitter continuously maintain a strong signal in order to reach the cellsite. That is also the time when an individual put the cellphone near the brain
Voice and text had a separate transmitter compared to mobile broadband (2G/3G/4G). So an idividual who talks a lot and data a lot on the cellphone is exposed to more radiation than a regular individual would realize once they put their gizmo close to the brain. Whether it would lead to cancer, only time will tell and its entirely up to every person to take the risk or mitigate it
The way to dampen the effect of radiation associated with the use of cellphone is to put it on speaker or if privacy is very important to you just use a headphone. That way, one can talk while keeping a safe distance from radiating equipment
Utilizing smartphones for purely data purposes entails less risk simply because the radiating unit is at a considerable distance from a user
So for me its better to be safe than sorry. After all its still prudent to never ever underestimate the effect of radiation, knowing its ill effect to a humanbeing

I wonder, with some of my friends exchanging their old CPs for an Oppo F1s, bakit ang daming bumibili nito? dahil ba maganda ang camera nito sa front and back?
Samsungs have a lot of bloatware ... then again, chinese branded phones have a lot of spyware ...
For those who own/use Asus devices...
Maybe this petition can help... No hard in trying

Does anyone have insider news on why the S7 and S7 Edge are no longer available from Globe?
Prior to Christmas, it was still there, but since I was still a few days early to re-contract, I didn't act on it. When the day finally came (30 days before contract's 2nd anniversary), both models were pulled off the their website. I called their hotline and was advised that they're out of stock and no one will tell me if they're still coming back or not. Hmmm.
Anyway, what does this mean?
1. Is this just a matter of increased demand over the holidays?
2. Stop production na ba ang S7 / S7 Edge?
Otherwise, I would just have to hold on to my current plan and just wait for the S8 / S8 Edge.
Globe now has more subscriber than smart...

What is the latest bang-for-the-buck smartphone in the Philippine market? To be used only for SMS, occasional calls, checking mails, FB, and sometimes clash of clans (if I forget to bring my tab).
The digitizer (screen) of my Alacatel Flash Plus 1 suddenly have cracks. I can still view the display perfectly but it wont respond to touch anymore.
Nag-crack ata dahil nasikipan sa pantalon hehehe. Ilang beses na yun nabagsak ng wagas, pero nag-crack kung kelan hindi nabagsak.
I'm cheap so I'm looking for a phone worth Php10,000 max hahaha.
Get a smaller screen smartphone to fit better in jeans pocket ...
Generally, instead of buying brand-new midrange phones from so-so brands, I prefer to go for secondhand flagship phones.
A Note 4 only costs about 10-12k in the secondhand market and I find it better than whatever J-series phone Samsung has or whatever Oppo/Huawei/etc China phone there is.
