    iO-what?

While there are some apps that are still iOS exclusive, most developers nowadays do both, so I don't see the point in going on with two.

Though I am looking at buying a two-sim set-up if I can... was actually about to, because I thought my mi3 was unrepairable (kid broke the screen... dropped it edgewise on a metal edge... doh!), but it took just an hour to get a replacement screen at the Bridgeway in Virramall.

There are still features in the latest Android builds that are not present in iOS ... life profiles, smart lock, file manager, easy access to data on/off ... buuut ... there's still no shake to undo in Android ...

I don't have a smartphone up to know because I don't want one. I prefer tablets. I have both Android and iOS tablets. Looking at SaaS apps such as Netflix and DirecTV's Watch Anywhere, the iOS implementation of both are visibly superior to their Android counterparts. I'm not a fan of iOS. But, I find myself using it more because the apps are programmed better.

Hopefully in the future she saves for more practical things.

Anyway, aside from being snappier and having a better camera, the iPhone 7+ feels largely like a 6+. In fact, after my sister transferred all her files from her old iPhone 5, she said it felt too similar that it doesn't give off the thrill of a new phone.

Personally I think the Note 5 at a fraction of the price makes more sense, or perhaps a used 6+.

While you can say that Android can do most things that iOS can, the manner in which they're done is very different. Been using my Note and iPhone for 2 years now and it's really much more convenient to use the iPhone for everyday tasks like texting (3-sms word limit on stock Android messaging app sucks and iOS keyboard is more intuitive) and taking pictures (iOS camera app is more straightforward and is quicker to launch).

The question isn't whether iOS or Android is better, because I can easily answer that I prefer the simplicity of iOS. Rather, the question is one dual-sim Android, or an Android and iOS combo?

Advantages of using just a Note 5:
    - I only have to bring one phone
    - I only have to charge one phone
    - S-Note is much better vs Note 4
    - Camera is better than both iPhone and Note 4
    - GPS locks quicker than both iPhone and Note 4

Advantages of using iPhone 6 + Note 4:
    - I get the best of both worlds, iOS and Android
    - I get to separate my work texts/calls from my personal ones

Considering she doesn't really have anything else to spend on, it's better that she at leasts pays for her own toys, compared to most people in her school who just ask from Santa Claus aka their parents.

    Single phone:
    less radiation
    less weight

I would add, the iPhone 6 and 7 are easier for everyday use but the screen size is way too small for me. My eyes really appreciate Samsung's bigger screen. Plus versions of the iPhone are too big naman.

Radiation leakage ain't a problem with current phones.

Not like 90's phones that could cause EMF interference in audio equipment from twenty feet away.

But there is still a good amount of EM radiation in modern phones isn't there? Studies showed it causes cancer in lab rats.

I'm upgrading to the Note 8 but that will definitely be out on the latter half of the year as the S8 will be launched first with the usual March/April release.

It's a good thing most people don't really use smartphones for making calls ...

Lol. You have a point there. But isn't cellular data & wifi also RF? Studies on humans are still inconclusive, but still...

My officemate got really poor performance reviews because he never answered phone calls. Radiation daw.

Anyway, radiation is irrelevant for me. I'm comparing functionality and ease of use.

Been trying to transfer my messages from my iPhone to my Note 5 all day, doesn't work. Am using Smart Switch which has worked fine for all other migrations I've done on other people's phones, but has been acting up on mine.

Okay screw it, I really can't transfer my iOS data to my Note. I'll see if I can live with my Note as a completely new phone. Maybe I'm just too nostalgic. 😂

Maybe try the iSMS2droid app? I remember I also gave up on transferring SMS from my old iPhone.

Prolonged exposure to high levels of any radiation will possibly cause cancer.

What you should be more concerned about is the heat transferrence of the microwave radiation, but even this is very minimal.

Modern phones simply don't leak as much as older ones.

As long as you don't telebabad, you should be perfectly fine.

Its part of the design to keep you in the apple sphere..you just have to decide to let go or to stay on..the more data you accumulate the harder it is to let go
