Havent used screen protectors for 3 years now. Sayang ganda ng screen if it's ruined by a crappy piece of glass.

I havent seen any conclusive evidence that screen protectors are harder than the Gorilla Glass on my phones. In the instances that the screen protector breaks, it's usually not strong enough to have broken the phone's LCD if it wasn't protected.

Against drops most likely useless. But it does offer protection against scratches. Accidental contact with keys, zippers, trouser rivets and the like easily scratch even the latest version Gorilla glass.

Tempered glass or none for me. Iba ang feeling ng touch pag plastic screen protector. Ang pangit ng touch

I'm using Moxbii Metearmor, kasing nipis lang ng plastic film protector pero nagcrack kapag finold mo. Absorbs impact pero nag sscratch pa din like ordinary tempered glass, check niyo vids sa YT 🙂

bought an f1s upgrade. I like that oppo doesn't have any bloatware. Very basic Android app Lang ang installed kahit facebook or messenger ikaw pa mag install.

This is what I didn't like about my Nexus 5 before. Personally I prefer Samsung's Touchwiz over the stock Google UI.

Pero naka iphone theme ang f1s di ba. So not really android stock

The usual tempered glass has a Mohs rating of 2 lang daw. SO they definitely will scratch easily vs your original screen which is about 7. Keys and the liek cannto scratch your phones screem kahit na 6 lang Mohs niyan if Gorilla glass 2 or below siguro ang rating.

Gravity daw ang pamatay sa smartphones. Sabagay, may waterproof ratings na kasi hehehe.

Good to know bro. Thing with the S7e, I've never been more afraid of drops than I am now. With my past phones I've always had robust cases that had at least 1mm of lip that made it impossible for the screen to be the first point of contact. With the glass edges on this one I never feel secure. Would've happily gotten a regular S7 instead if it were available from my carrier.

Nougat rocks. Battery life is much improved even with bluetooth headset, navigation and calls from dual sims all running at the same time. ☺

my wife's 6.7 inch zenfone dropped facedown on a concrete floor. it has a leather type flip cover Sa screen. the whole screen still cracked. if a thick and soft leather protection can still crack the screen, I don't see how a tempered glass can protect it.

Just to clarify, my flip case is more a protection against smudges and scratches as I usually carry my phone in my back pocket or in a bag. What protects the screen from cracking (again, up to an extent) is the film type screen protector. A tempered glass protector may still shatter or crack in a corner or face down drop.

Parang glass sandwich pa din siya judging from tons of leaked posters and pictures. Maybe they finally found a way to fix the screen burning issue if they'll be using on-screen buttons.

BTW, instead of any second-tier brand, I think the best value secondhand phone is the Note 5. 14-15k nalang value niya ngayon but it's even better than the 25k iPhone 6S+.
