Matagal pa siguro sa Pinas, 90% of users are on prepaid kasi, madali maubos load kapag nag-susurf sa net, nakaka-addict.

Bilib ako sa inyo. Ako guilty ako na every 3 years nagpapalit na kahit ayos pa. Hindi naman mahal kapalit pero at least bago ba.

In the near future? Highly unlikely. They can't even bring back the glory days of their own product brand. Windows 8, RT and the Surface are dismal failures. We'll have to see what the next CEO can bring to the table. I seriously hope it isn't Stephen Elop, BTW, his Nokia trojan horse stunt left a bad taste in the mouth for a lot techies.

    Edit:
Nokia should never have gone exclusively with Windows. Just think of Nokia hardware with Android software. Madami pa din fans ang Nokia, they would have been a serious contender of Samsung since LG and HTC haven't been gaining, and at times even losing, marketshare.

i hope not. let's stop frivolous/petty lawsuits based on user interface; leave that to the petty Apple lawyers.

Listen Up Apple-Haters: IPhone Sales Eclipse Microsoft and Amazon Revenue

Apple (AAPL) Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook has taken plenty of flack for running a company that is supposedly well past its glory days—and the iPhone smartphone franchise is sometimes dismissed as a spent force, losing ground to more innovative brands such as Android and Samsung (005930:KS). Well, here’s a little perspective for the Apple-haters.

The iPhone 5s and 5c sold a record 9 million units during the first weekend after its launch. Consider this: The brand’s sales haul over the last four reported quarters eclipses that of such companies as Home Depot (HD), Microsoft (MSFT), Target (TGT), Goldman Sachs (GS), Amazon (AMZN), PepsiCo (PEP), Comcast (CMCSA), Dell (DELL), Google (GOOG), Pfizer (PFE), and UPS (UPS).

If this single product were its own company in the Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index, IPhone Inc. would outsell 474 of those companies—ranking between Wells Fargo (WFC) ($90.5 billion) and Marathon Petroleum (MPC) ($84.9 billion). The iPhone’s $88.4 billion in annualized revenue tops 21 of the 30 component companies in the Dow Jones industrial average—it would be the ninth-biggest stock in the Dow 30:

I think mas mura nga ang data rate sa Pinas compared sa ibang bansa. Usually 50 pesos a day or 900-1200 month for an unlimited data. Here in Australia (Telstra), 49 dollars for a 3GB of data!

Kaso nga lang ang bagal talaga ng data speed sa atin.

Ang 3G speed sa atin around 1mbps down lang, samantala 9-10mbps down here.

heheh, pretty much everything costs more naman talaga sa australia. but, seriously, as you said PH bandwidth and service reliability is lagging so much from other countries.

    Noob question sa mga master.

Im confused if is it safe to connect my phone in my laptop which is infected by virus?

Planning to transfer files / pix / songs using my itunes sa laptop. Kaso infected ata laptop ko.

Ano cons nito sa phone ko? Can i infect my phone too?

    Thanks!

Dito lang sa room ko sa office 3G and edge lang panay ko nasasagap. I envy those people na kung saan sila naka pirmi tapos LTE yun area nila.
