    Note 5 or Note 4 + iPhone 6?

I use my Note 4 (Smart) for work and the iPhone is my personal phone (Globe).

I got a free Note 5 from a home internet plan and I can't decide if I'll ditch the 2-phone setup. Having just one phone is convenient but iOS is just too nice to get rid of. Plus, I have 2 apps (spending and fuel tracking) that have no Android equivalents which will make the migration a hassle.

My brother whom I gave an S7 to replace his iPhone 6 says that having an iPhone as primary phone is still better. My girlfriend whom I gave a Note 5 to replace her iPhone 5 has absolutely no complaints with the switch. My dad who went from iPhone 4S to Note 5 also likes his Note 5 much more. So the opinions are pretty divided between them.

    Your thoughts?

i find two cellphones to take care of, too cumbersome.
i don't see why some folks have more than one cellphone about them.
kung gusto talagang dalawang simcard, get a phone with two simcards.
    my opinion.

Kept 2 for the longest time because I liked having both Android and iOS. Now I'm contemplating whether it's okay to give up iOS completely.

    iO-what?

While there are some apps that are still iOS exclusive, most developers nowadays do both, so I don't see the point in going on with two.

Though I am looking at buying a two-sim set-up if I can... was actually about to, because I thought my mi3 was unrepairable (kid broke the screen... dropped it edgewise on a metal edge... doh!), but it took just an hour to get a replacement screen at the Bridgeway in Virramall.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

There are still features in the latest Android builds that are not present in iOS ... life profiles, smart lock, file manager, easy access to data on/off ... buuut ... there's still no shake to undo in Android ...

I stopped tracking my fc lol.

I think the note5 will be better. The split screen feature is still not mature though.

I'm upgrading to the Note 8 but that will definitely be out on the latter half of the year as the S8 will be launched first with the usual March/April release.

Okay screw it, I really can't transfer my iOS data to my Note. I'll see if I can live with my Note as a completely new phone. Maybe I'm just too nostalgic. 😂

Its part of the design to keep you in the apple sphere..you just have to decide to let go or to stay on..the more data you accumulate the harder it is to let go

Mate9 is finally available here. 28k sounds reasonable.

I wonder, with some of my friends exchanging their old CPs for an Oppo F1s, bakit ang daming bumibili nito? dahil ba maganda ang camera nito sa front and back?

Ako din nagtataka, medyo overpriced pa nga kung tutuusin. 5.5 inch 720p lang resolution, tapos 5.1 Lollipop pa lang. Mag Galaxy J7 Prime na lang ako.

Does anyone have insider news on why the S7 and S7 Edge are no longer available from Globe?

Prior to Christmas, it was still there, but since I was still a few days early to re-contract, I didn't act on it. When the day finally came (30 days before contract's 2nd anniversary), both models were pulled off the their website. I called their hotline and was advised that they're out of stock and no one will tell me if they're still coming back or not. Hmmm.

    Anyway, what does this mean?

    1. Is this just a matter of increased demand over the holidays?
    2. Stop production na ba ang S7 / S7 Edge?

Otherwise, I would just have to hold on to my current plan and just wait for the S8 / S8 Edge.

Generally, instead of buying brand-new midrange phones from so-so brands, I prefer to go for secondhand flagship phones.

A Note 4 only costs about 10-12k in the secondhand market and I find it better than whatever J-series phone Samsung has or whatever Oppo/Huawei/etc China phone there is.
