He was worried abt electrical costs for the chest freezer though am not sure abt what the consumption is.

Just trying to help them get a leg up on life. They are good people with very little options. I actually paid for all the initial inventory in his sari sari store on the promise that he does his best to grow it (which he and his wife have). I did this also before for my other driver and his store in marikina is thriving... Pays for the daily allowance and pamasahe of his 2 kids and his celphone and his wife's celphone load etc. That driver asked me for a different thing this xmas.....piso wifi machine....

just tell him to close the freezer at all times. open only when necessary. this will prevent energy loss.

hirap sa condo. meron maximum depth and width na pwedeng fridge. options now are the top freezers 8-10s

weird at walang BL389 na pana.. siguro extra new pa.

Japan quality is another way of saying made in China ... Chest type freezers are actually more energy efficient ... the cold air stays inside when opening the freezer ... they just consume more space ...

Sakto to bump on this thread. Me maisuggest ba kayo 7 cu. ft. lang ireregalo ko kay mother? Preferrably 2-door and tipid sa konsumo.

Choosing between LG and Panasonic for bottom freezer ref. Both inverter type, 15 cu ft. LG with linear inverter vs Panasonic's econavi (with sensor to adjust the temp based on usage). Looking for input from owner's of this brand. Personally mas gusto ko Panasonic.

I have a 10.4 cu.ft. Panasonic Econavi ref. Works well so far.

Hard to say how much it really consumes but my monthly electricity bill is just 1.4k/month with aircon always on whenever I'm home and the ref on 24/7.
