that is, assuming he aircons are always on 'cool'. and we know that many aircons go on 'fan' when the room is cool enough.

it really helps a lot, if the room is small and insulated from sunlight heat and other heat sources.

i have a 2.5 hp aircon, cooling a room whose walls are heated effectively by the sun during the daytime.
the aircon is turned on for about 12 hours , at night.
my meralco bill, including everything else in the house, is about 10k.
Napunta ako sa ganyang deep dive computation last year.. Tama pala hahahahahaha [emoji28]
Kaya ni timer ko na ang off and on para sure 19 hours lang... 4:30 AM mamamatay, 9:00 AM sisindi..

BTW my ref was also inverter but i don't use any AVRs or any kind of voltage protection.. When there is a blackout I have to unplug the fridge and wait for 5 mins. before plugging in. That's all I do when blackouts happen.
Servo AVR is best for unstable grid FVR-15SC

Back to Whirlpool kasi malapit lang ang exatech.

Doc, I tried your computation, 1.5hp x .746kw x 2 units x 8 hours x 30 days x 8.8/kw, dapat 4.7k, ac pa lang, at the rate our meter is going, I estimate our total bill to be around 3.8k.

Doc, x 1 lang dapat yung aircon kasi dun sa post one unit 4 to 6 hours at yung isa 18 hours so bale 24 hours nga usage. So nasa 4k yung consumption ng ac.

For those running their aircons more than 10 hours a day, an inverter aircon will pay for itself in around 12-18 months ...

Medyo napapabilis ang build up ng ice in one spot (top middle ng ceiling ng freezer) sa freezer namin and I suspect the gasket is not as airtight as it used to be. But then it also could be dahil mas madalas kami magbukas ng freezer to get ice. So, I don't know if it's really time to replace the gaskets o baka sa usage lang.

Inverter ref is a little more than 2 years old. Freezer has its own door at the usual upper third of the ref.

I replaced my 12 years old condura for that reason. Pero yung fridge I can open the door with just a small effort with my pinky. [emoji23]

That's when I decided to replace it na.
