I don't know if it would fit your budget but I would suggest an inverter refrigerator with at least 2-doors. Definitely no frost. If you can wait, I know the appliance shops have an inventory sale in the 1st quarter of the year to get rid of old stock.

Digital Inverter Compressor - This is what Samsung posts in their site:

"Unlike conventional compressors, which have just two patterns of start and stop, Samsung’s Digital Inverter Compressor makes 5 different moving cycle based on humidity levels and usage patterns. This helps maintain a more consistent temperature, reduces wear and tear on the compressor for greater durability, and keeps noise to a minimum. You’ll also enjoy the peace of mind that comes with lower electric bills and a 10-year warranty."

Sirs, is this the Inverter you are referring to?

+1 Get an inverter ref. The premium on the price will be worth the cost savings in your electricity bill. Panasonic is a good brand.

will buy Samsung inverter this week end 7 cu.ft lang naman need ko and it is around 18~19k.

sa automatic center they extend the price up to 24 months and after 3 billing cycle period ang first pay kaya swak sa budget ng 13 motnhs pay.

    1. No frost
    2. Two door (saves energy as you only open the compartment you need to access)
    3. Cubic size? Depends on your needs, what you intend to put inside, how often do you stock up on meats, etc.
    4. I'd consider Panasonic, Condura/Kelvinator, GE, and perhaps, Samsung. First choice is Panasonic.
    5. Go for the one with higher energy efficiency rating; if you can afford it, put out extra PPP for the Inverter type units as these are the trend and are said to have lower electricity consumption.

ask for a discount when paying in cash. usually hindi nila sinasabi yan, pero hingi ka discount for cash payment.

I just got me an inverter ref made by samsung (14cuft) yesterday. So far nakaka-aliw ang freezer part kasi hindi nagkaka-unwanted freeze unlike my oldschool (yet reliable westinghouse).

I have yet to know next month's bill kung tataas ang konsumo ko.

Kung merun SAVER's sa area mo, icheck mo rin price nila...I saved a thousand vs Abenson sa the same unit. Abenson was offering a freebie that I didn't need kaya we choose the offer of SAVER's.
