You can get the same specs for a much much lower price if you just build it yourself.

Just check PCHub prices of the exact same parts to get an idea of how much it’ll cost.

The pricing of prebuilts is usually fair, however they tend to include undesirable parts that a vendor couldn’t move.

Like that case or perhaps the water cooler

What's your use case for that specs? If gaming, better to just get an i5 or i7 then 16GB of RAM. If productivity that requires high core count and memory, then I guess the parts are fine.

For gaming, 16GB RAM is more than enough. Only when using productivity apps and multitasking you will want more than 16GB. For myself, if I am not running virtual machines for simulation, I'll just have 16GB instead of my current 32GB.

I agree that a gaming PC only needs 16GB today, but if you’re spending good money on a PC anyway, might as well get something high-end in all aspects.

My work laptop has 16GB RAM and I find myself having difficulty running some heavy Excel files already. I got it during the time when everyone was still running 8GB laptops, but over time the complexity of the files I work with has caught up and 16GB is “just right” for today.

32GB future-proofs you for the next 3 years.

... which will come and pass so fast,
one will wonder why he didn't get the 64 GB instead (as if it were available at decent price, back then)...
    heh heh.

my smartphone has 4 gb of ram, which i thought was adequate for my use.
    yet it crawls sometimes...

there is a price drop rumor for gpus in 30-60 days as supply is stabilizing. I think that 3070 will drop to around to around 40k from 44k. unless BTC goes up again LOL

The Samsung Note 5 released in 2015 already had 4GB RAM. Today’s Android flagships have 12GB RAM, so running 4GB today will really be insufficient.

I find that buying a flagship and keeping it for longer is more efficient than buying a midrange phone that quickly gets obsolete.

Can anyone recommend a cheap, yet decent 65W GaN USB Type-C charger for an HP laptop?

I used ugreen usb-c 100w cables. its ok its certainly not the best. xiaomi's 120w usbc cable clicks into place alot better.
