My acer has a stock 4gb ddr4 ram. Based sa internet, i would benefit more by adding another 4gb stick compared to adding an 8gb stick. Is this true? Haha sabi it will take advantage daw of dual channel mode

Dual channel wont work with 4+8

My laptop is also 4+8 and its fine. The advantage of an extra 4gb of ram is superior to dual channel.

You wont feel the advantage of dual channel ram doing office tasks.

But 4+4 is cheaper obviously

when would i feel the advantage for dual channel? I wanna do light gaming on the laptop (i.e. nba 2k21). it played nba2k17 decently on medium settings but sluggish for 2k21, especially after i reset it

EDIT: Just read that Kabylake i5 will support flex mode, and will run the 8gb in dual mode, and the remaining 4gb in single channel

Eh di upgrade mo na ram mo basta kunin mong ram hindi mas mababa speed sa current ram mo or else mag step down ang speed ng current ram mo, and make sure may available slot pa for additional ram baka pag bili mo ram wala na pala available slot

My MS Office 365 just expired now instead of renewing it I am planning to buy yung one time na Office and Home Student. I am on Mac OS BTW

Confused lang ako since sa packaging nakalagay:





1 PC / Mac, so it will work sa Mac?

Checked MS website:





Wala check mark doon sa 5th row.

But again one time purchase for PC and Mac nakalagay sa headers [emoji2957]

Went to Megamall yesterday, yung isang shop telling me talagang 365 lang daw ang gagama for Mac? Ayoko na nga ng subscription.

They tried daw yan office and home ilagay sa mac ayaw daw talaga. Lugi pa nga sila since nabuksan na, hindi na nila mabenta.

Solb na ako dyan sa Home and Student since Word, Excel and Powerpoint lang talaga needed ko.

Any inputs?
