I was talking about an upcoming tech.. not a laptop to our market. This will be available Dec pa pala. which isn't too far.
its a new mobile cpu from amd, its running at lower clocks hence they're able to pack more cpu cores and gpu cores. A god-send imo for ph market.

Sorry, image-heavy.
I had two EPoX boards circa 1999-2001. I also believed they were the best bang-for-buck enthusiast boards of the era. Alas, both died within a few years.
MVP3G2 - Bloated "PSU-killer" caps, blackout
8KDA7I - Blackout
A few weeks into the onset of the lockdown, while I was trying to kill time, I rummaged through my old things and took out every dead board I've been meaning to throw away but consequently got stored in a rat-infested bodega.
This was how I found them all... The EPoX EP-MVP3G2 is top middle.
After a bit of cleaning and TLC:
The warranty stickers tells the story.... 20 years old
The original CPU that came with it.... though, it's more of a space heater than a CPU, TBH
I've been contemplating of having some of those boards repaired and just build a retro-PC rig that's hopefully period-correct.
I've already restored the Pentium 4 system I used as a router from 2006 to 2009, including the two NICs and the original hard drive with ClarkConnect still installed. That was a trip down memory lane.
I probably got too much time on my hands.. hehe
Ms LM ito pala yung sa akin... ayos siya kasi mas maliit sa acer ko... mas mabigat yung logitech KB compared sa acer pero mas solid ang feel... sa mouse mas manipis and handy si pebble... at ang maganda wala na bluetooth dongle... i can connect my perosnal laptop and work laptop at the same time... also tried restarting and di nawawala ang BT connection sa KB and Mouse...

Last purchase was an Ideapad Flex 5, 4gb ram and 256gb ssd. For 35k. Was only 33k before. Waited for the sale coz it was 1k off but was sold out 2 days before. Pagbalik 1 month and change after, 35k na.
Notebooks are so overpriced right now but with high demand I don't think that's gonna change soon.
This is actually my son's school computer bro. Ok pa naman 4GB RAM for his usage. But yeah, I'll probably get more RAM when it becomes available in the future. Even my 5 year old desktop has 8GB RAM already.
Super mahal na talaga ngayon, no choice lang kasi kelangan na. This was bought from Lenovo's Lazmall. Touchscreen din sya like the Yoga. Lenovo was selling an 8GB RAM, 500GB SSD version for an even more expensive 43K. Grabe considering these are "entry level" specs![]()
I'll probably have to get another notebook/desktop before year end to replace my aging desktop.
