17.5" diagonal? No such thing. It's one of the ff:

    18.5" (1366x768 resolution)
    19" (1440x900 resolution)
    20" (1600x900 or 1680x1050 resolution)
    21.5", 23" (1920x1080 resolution)

Just look for the model name of your monitor and google it so you can know for sure what your monitor specs are.

Maybe its a 15.6" diagonal plus 2" bezel hehe.

I have almost the exact build for my HTPC (A8), except for a much smaller case, HDD an BR Drive. That will do fine in most games and unripped bluray movies.

huntkey is a good psu. not as reputable as tier1 psus. but for a pc that will only draw 100w. the 500w psu has enough juice to be stable.

Me too, but only if you already have enough space for all your media.

A 256GB SSD costs 5k, while a 1 TB HDD only costs 2.5k (500 GB is at 2k so it's a no brainer to go 1 TB instead of 500 GB).

However, a 256 GB SSD might not be enough for most people especially if you have lots of videos/movies. Best combo is a 1TB HDD for storage + 256 GB SSD as boot drive. Then again, some people don't even know how to set up Windows such that their Documents/Music/Pictures folders are separate from their boot drive.

Best resolution is always your monitor's native resolution - 1920x1080. Your PC can run Dota 2 at that resolution at low/medium settings.

Try downloading Fraps so you can see your framerate. 40-60 FPS is smooth enough already.

256 GB is too much for strictly a boot drive <.<

protip: buy SSD's from Crucial or Adata. They sell the cheapest (2.8-3.2k-ish), thus I replaced all my computer storage with SSD's. With the way SSD's are dropping prices, there's no reason not to upgrade to them.

For my use, 256 GB is just right for a boot drive. My current boot partition is just 160 GB. It's already full of programs and the system files that build up over the years. I've had to install Photoshop, Lightroom, and my games in a separate partition.

With a 256 GB boot drive, you can install everything you need in that drive, maximizing the faster startup time of an SSD for loading apps.

My desktop currently has 2 hard drives, a 1 TB and a 250 GB drive. Both Seagate Barracudas. I only have a total of 300 GB space left, and that's considering I already offloaded my movies to my external hard drives. It's not practical to have an SSD even for your media since it's still relatively expensive. An SSD boot drive and regular hard drive for storage is still the best value option.

Of course they'll tell you that. There were cases of blown Huntkey PSUs in TPC before which is why I like Corsair more. But I also had a Corsair before that failed on me (dead capacitor), so it's really just the luck of the draw. Overall though, Corsair is one of the most highly regarded PSU brands, along with Seasonic. Of course, their reputation is based on their high-end HX PSUs. The VS450 is the lowest-end model in their lineup with much cheaper parts, so it might not be all that different from other budget PSUs. Anyway, nabili mo na, and you won't be pulling much load so the Huntkey won't be pushed to its limits so it'll last you long enough.

Your rig can run Business Objects since it already has 8 GB RAM, although it's recommended to have 16 GB. Try it out and see if 8 GB would be enough already

Thanks thanks bro. Whats the cheapest keyboard and mouse for games? Yung pang comp shop na generic ok na. Wala kwenta freebies nila. So i can still upgrade my RAM pala with comb of my current set up? And PC Table and Chair where can I buy it cheap?

And the shop I went to was JDM techno. Sila ata yung mababaot ang SA. Yung sa iba masungit. Pinaka sosyal is PCHub and i think little bit pricey sila and may bayad labor nila kapag may dala ka cpu for upgrade.

500 pesos yung cheapest keyboard and mouse set na A4Tech na. I'd suggest a wireless, backlit keyboard though. Around 1k (A4Tech). Then wireless mouse din, mga 600-800. Yung akin, 900 ko lang nabili wireless KB and mouse na, pero hindi backlit yung keyboard.

Yes you can still upgrade if you bought just 1 stick of 8 GB RAM, pwede pa magdagdag since your board has 2 slots.

PC tables and chairs, sa SM marami. Or any furniture shop. HMR din for cheap surplus stuff.

Never heard of JDM techno. PCHub and PC Options lang ako usually. PC Express is a bit pricey. Gaisano Interpace mura din but kulang kulang mga offering nila. Yung iba, mga "hu u" na for me.

Thanks bro. What do mean by backlit? Sa 900 nalang siguro ako hehehe. On slot on motherboard parang tatlo ung napansin ko slots but not sure.
Re: Gaisano ansungit nung SA nila duon bwesit hehehe.

Performance tried it midnight till madaling araw maglaro ng DoTA2 seems may very minimal lag parin sakin at 3MBS pldt dsl net speed... May nabasa ako on earlier post na if morethan 20inches yung monitor ko maglalag ? Though very minimal lang lag hindi masyado mapapansin but not that smooth tulad sa shop pinaglalaruan ko.
On files MS office brownsing net and multi tasking sobra smooth niya.

Tatagal naman siguro ako lang gagamit nung PC. Ang advantage lang siguro ni PCHub, PCExpress is mas knowledgeable yung mga technician nila.
Another problem ko now is time pani ko pagkakasyahinnoras ko hehehe. Gusto ko sulitin yung PC.

Backlit as in may ilaw yung keys ng keyboard, so kahit nakapatay yung ilaw sa room mo, madali pa rin makita yung keys na pinipindot mo.

I checked the specs of your board, it has 4 RAM slots. More than enough if you need to upgrade. What case did you get? Your board supports has front USB 3.0 headers, but to maximize it your case has to have USB 3.0 ports as well. File transfer via USB 3.0 is so much faster than USB 2.0, really useful when transferring large files.

It's too simplistic to say that having a larger monitor means lag. The real explanation is that larger monitors have higher native resolutions. Higher resolutions are more taxing to your CPU and GPU, but that doesn't mean you can't play Dota on your big monitor. If for example your monitor's native resolution is 1920x1080, and your CPU/GPU can't handle that resolution smoothly, you can always reduce it to a lower resolution of the same 16:9 ratio, specifically 1280x720 or 1366x768. Those resolutions are the same as the native resolution of a 18.5" monitor. End result - less detail, but still a smooth playing experience.

I second this. Huwag ka kukuha sa CDRKing ng mouse and keyboard. Sobrang baba ng DPi nung mouse nila and yung keyboard minsan mahirap pindutin. I bought dragonwar mouse and keyboard from DataBlitz. Not as expensive na katulad ng Razer and so far ok naman yung experience ko. (Dragonwar Offical Web Site)

hmmm... example of backlit keys(my humble rig):

and yes, I do prefer using the user's manual over a mouse pad because it has the perfect traction for me <.<
