As much as possible, stay away ako sa mga lumang parts.

I'll take jut's advice. Yun binigay niyang specs ang maganda-ganda. Tsaka kahit paano, kahit DOTA 2 lang lalaruin mo, kelangan mo ng decent video card. You'll never know kung maisipan mo pang maglaro ng ibang games na may extensive graphics.

Punta ka sa tipidpc. May thread doon na "help me build my rig".

Thanks bro. Nagpost narin ako tipid pc. Hopefully may reply na this morning so i can go on shops na sa gilmore after this day feeling ko busy nako ulit..

Hi I might help you regarding this. Un quote yeah mahal siya kasi bibilhin mo buong cpu unit but if I where you just buy what you need.

May I know what is the specs of your CPU 2008? I need to know is un
    Processor
    Ram
    Motherboard
    Hdd
    Un sirang video card

Kasi kung sira lang video card why dont you buy video card? Or if you want upgarde the unit buy new motherboard, processor, ram and video card na din pero make sure magagamit mo un old hdd, dvdrw, casing you will save 4000php na dun sa quote sayo.

Can't open daw. If i were you i'd check first the cpu box by pulling out the video card and memory, clean the contacts with eraser then re-insert back. Connect a monitor then fire up. If bios appears then you're good, no need to buy replacement hardware..

To lessen the price gamitin un pwde pa magamit like i said un casing pwde pa yan un hdd pwde pa yan un dvdrw pwde pa yan 4k un less na kung susundin un quoted price sayo tapos may discount ata pag tipidpc member not sure ahh haha pag ayaw nila gamitin un old stuff mo lipat ka sa iba haha pero impossible un haha

If it has no power(no lights or anything), remove the 50 pin molex connector then locate the pin with green wire, using a pc of paper clip, bridge that pin to any contact with black wire.. If the power supply didn't fire up(blower or led lights on the panel) then throw that PS away. You could replace a busted ATX power supply in less than P1k, surplus are cheaper but as long as its within the original wattage spec then it should work without issues.

^follow-up: If it's not the power supply unit that's broken. Listen for the beeps. 90% of the time, you only need to wipe and clean the RAM sticks.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

I don't understand why people are asking about the CPU, it's stated in the first post that he has a Celeron. Most likely the dual-core Celeron (E1xxx series) which was launched in 2008.

That's a slow CPU by today's standards. Even internet browsing and MS office will feel laggy. A 2008-era PC will most likely have only 1GB or 2GB RAM, which isn't enough if you want smooth operation with Win 7.

Your 10k budget isn't enough for a decent gaming PC if you want to go brand new, but that's more than enough for a secondhand rig.

Get an i3 processor (i3-2100 or newer) and a decent video card (at least GTX 460). Pair those two with a true-rated PSU, 4 GB RAM and 1 TB HDD, and you'll have a PC that'll play DOTA2 with ease and will run fine for the next few years.
