It was definitely risky. They were literally just a foot away from being stranded. If the water have gone a foot higher or the snorkel popped a leak or something, social media would be ablaze with negative comments. They were indeed, as they themselves put it, very lucky.
On the plus side, they’ve built an adventure that they can tell (and show) their grand kids.

It was a good thing too that the car didn't float. The water was definitely deep enough to cause it.

November 12th, 2019 07:00 PM #70Di lang ata re-upholster kakailanganin nya. Baka refoam na din considering how dirty the water must have been, not to mention having to crack open transmission/diffs etc to check for water intrusion.
But worth it for the internet fame/notoriety!
