do you know the TV sched for WRC this season? it's a bit hard for me to follow the races :D

nope, wala rin akong sched... basta pag na announce sa AXN, ayun na... will try to have my brother (a tv addict) to note it down for us...

the mexican rally was really nice!

btw, the mitsubishis are having this clutch problem from the start...

pu-joe also had some engine problems...

the citroen lost its brake system entirely...

the fords wasn't fast but they won it by consistent driving and by staying away from accidents...

WRC every monday starts around 8pm upto 10 pm sa Channel 9...I got to see the Monte Carlo, Sweden...but I forgot about the Mexico... I missed it awarding nalang ang inabot ko....and the other features.

Sa April 19 pa yata ang sunod...sa New Zealand naman...

Ang galeng.....I want the Citroen or the Ford ....

yung sa axn hindi din naman live sympre, highlights lang, pero sana merong station sa cable na live the whole race, for several days, hehe, parang F1

sa axn usually first tuesday (11pm) after the race pinapalabas. sayang lang kasi i missed yung sa mexico.

meron din nga daw sa ch9, tho ndi ko pa nattsambahan.

medyo problematic pa yung bagong mitsu, halos from scratch kasi yung bagong evo, siguro next season they'll be more competitive.

for the last races, race (p)review was on a friday while the race review was on a tuesday. since its a rally, di ito live feed.
mitsu team sana ako kaso problematic evo8 ( i drive a mitsu kasi hehe). magaling si mr. sebastian loeb ng citroen.

parang mas magaling si Martin ng ford than Loeb...but Loeb is quite talented but mostly lucky... sa monte carlo ang strategy niya is not to make mistake lang...so ang speed niya swabe and nothing spectacular....ung ibang magagaling hataw...kaya sa aksidente madalas bumabagsak. He was doing 2nd sa Monte carlo...then due to an accident, the number 1 drop-out...he became number 1.

Yung sa Sweden ganun din...he was just running 3rd/4th....but nagkamajor accident yung top 2....ung top 1 nasira yung power steering (peugot 306) sa last 20km ng isang SS....5 mins ang nawala agad sa kanya...he dropped to 6th place yata. Yung 2nd nabangga yata (si Martin yata)...he dropped 2 places yata....when Loeb got the 1st position nagphasing uli siya for the next 3 or 4 SS....ang bagged the championship sa swedish rally....1st time in 50years daw na non-swedish won that rally.

Sayang yung sa mexico...di ko inabot...sa streets na makikitid ng Leon ang race....sana ireplay ng channel 9.....

Btw highlights lang din yung sa 9...siguro parang AXN lang din...pero extensive naman and you get the feel of the race pa rin.

Sorry pero mukhang kulelat na ang mitsubishi evo...nakaka 3 consecutive WRC years na yata silang nawala sa top 3.

I wish I have a citroen WRC T4 or a ford focus...nainspire tuloy ako na ang gagawin ko sa project car ko na toyota starlet eh WRC format....gawin kong all-wheel or 4 wheel drive na pang rallye and not off-roading....20" na gulong sa 18" na rim with 8" width....tapos complete with the roll-bars ek-ek para supper ricey....just dreaming...

Can someone post a link kung paano ang process ng wrc from start to finish? or if someone is diligent enough to write it here.

Sa totoo lang i dont fully understand its concept or rules & regulations. PInapanood ko lang lagi ung drifting nila but now im getting more interested.

from my limited understanding, it is a race done world wide under differenct road conditions (aspalt, pavement, rough roads, gravel roads, ice/icy roads, sandy roads...etc)

It is both a car and driver test for skills.

yesterdays show sa channel 9 was a replay...ng montecarlo (January event) and Sweden (February)...Mexico was March (which I missed) and New Zealand was April...

I thought they would air the New Zealand run kasi katatapos lang...Martin na yata ang nasa lead, 2nd si Loeb.... sana nextweek mexico replay and the new zealand race.

Kanina rpn 9 replayed the san marino gp. I thought they were going to air the new zealand rally, probably next week.

I watched the new zealand rally highlights on axn last week and solberg won the race. solberg almost blew it when he entered a certain corner and hit a rock making the car lose its power steering.

WRC is now more exciting than f1 coz four drivers are on equal grounds, viz:

marko martin-ford focus 26pts
sebastian loeb-citreon 25pts
marcus gronholm-peugot24 pts
petter solberg-subaru23pts

Next would be cyprus rally on may 14-16

San kaya ko makakabili ng cap ni solberg. Im pretty sure mahirap hanapin ito coz di naman ganon ka sikat ang WRC sa atin.
