In the 90s, there was an agreement between NATO and Russia that there will be no expansion in the Eastern bloc countries which were members of the Warsaw Pact. NATO didn’t keep its words. 30 years later, most of the Warsaw Pact nations are now members of NATO. Even the former states of USSR have joined NATO.

Parang Yung mga bully sa school. Ok lang manakit sa iba pero kung barkada nya sinaktan, lahat sa school makisabay.

Russia is wrong to invade Ukraine. Israel is wrong to deny the Palestinians of their lands. The US and the UK was wrong to invade Iraq with fabricated stories of WMD. NATO was wrong to bomb Serbia for meddling in a civil war.

Yun nga lang, sa point of view ng US-UK-NATO or Israel justified yung actions nila. Civilians died in Palestine, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Serbia. Pero mali pa rin. For the US and NATO, Russia cannot bully another country because they are the only bullies. Hehehe

Let’s the case of Afghanistan in 2001. The people of Afghanistan has no beef against the Americans or the Europeans. It just happens that the Taliban are friendly to groups inciting a holy war against the US. The foe was Al Queda and not the nation of Afghanistan.

Yet the whole world cheered as US and UK forces pound the poor nation back to the Stone Age. Even funny that 20 years prior to that, US and its allies provided weaponry and anti-air missiles (Redeye and Stinger) to the Afghan Mujahideen to fight off the Russians. These same people they befriended way back, only to pound them to submission. Twenty years of fighting yet the world just looked away. No sanctions nor boycott was ever done yet the Afghans suffered for the sake of the false sense of security of the US and the UK.

There’s nothing new sa sunction nila, modernize lang ngayon… dati when other countries will go to war, cut-off nila food supply sa kalaban hanggang magutom through blockage sa mga daanan…
