Turkish-made guns? I remember US aircrews dropping by Incirlik AB on their way home and buying dozens of guns in "The Alley." Then, they flew straight home to their bases in the US and bypassed US customs. The Turks are only too happy to sell them more guns.

    incirlik,

I doubt Turkey and Russia can hurt the other more economically. Both have trade offs. The drop in Russian tourists might have an effect. But, less Russian tourists might mean an increase in German tourists. There are still Germans who don't see eye to eye with the Russians and don't want to be seen with the latter.

As for the jailed journalists..... Oh well. That reminds me of Putin and Russia. Russia isn't exactly a bastion of press freedoms either. If Turkey was caught red-handed in Syria, the Russians were caught red-handed in the Ukraine. Turkey and Russia are so much alike with the exception of Turkey being a muslim country. The Russians should be proud. The Turks are acting exactly the same way the Russians did during the Cold War. Should bring a tear to their eyes.

Just search for all the shoot-downs Russia did in the decades prior.

Missile defense complex has been delivered to Syria.

tl;dr: Visual analysis reveals it is not S-400/S-300PMU-3 but S-300PMU-1/2.

the Transporter Erector Launcher (TEL) in use is an S-300PMU1 5P85SE

S-400/S-300 PMU-3 uses 5P85SM that is distinct because of the telescoping mast with 4 antenna elements

They also appear to be using LEMZ 96L6E/96L6-1 acquisition radar that has a radar coverage of 5-300 km. This is arguably the only S-400 component of the missile complex. This is a vast upgrade from the separate horizontal and height finding radars that can be still seen used, Kasta 2E1 and PRV-13. Russian literature suggest that the existing 67N6E with a range of 400 km can be used with the S-300 PMU series.

For point defense, they are using Pantsir-S1E

Bilal Erdogan having dinner with ISIS and Al Nusra leadership

From Tatzhit: This was forwarded to me by my friend "Rachael Lane" for consideration. I'm publishing it as received, with minor editing.
I'm by no means an expert on Turkey, so I can't independently verify whether those people are actually affiliated with ISIS/AL Nusra. I would appreciate if any experts can give their opinion in the comments.December 3rd, 2015.

“It’s Saturday night and I’m going to meet some friends at a restaurant, we’ll eat, drink and have good time. I meet up with these two at Ciğeristan Restaurant, owned by Kember from Ciğeris Brothers, every chance I get. We laugh and joke, tell stories and drink our beers. We smoke ‘em if we got them and if we’re lucky maybe see more of my friends. If I’m very lucky, maybe someone will snap a photo of me and my friends together.”
    Said No Terrorist Ever.

Hollywood has nothing on these guys. They know the who, the what, and how to manipulate the media into thinking they are being persecuted while all the time going behind the media’s back and to getting away with terrorism, murder by the hundreds, and becoming ürber rich as the sell all the plunder, blood-sweat- and-tears, oil and artifacts they take from the people!

These images were sent to me by a friend who found them on this blog and sent with the following tweet; “This was posted on Turkish social media. Erdogans son Bilal, with leaders of the ISIS & Nasra.”

well, at least they're doing something a bit different this time.

if denying doesn't work, blame the Russians. hahaha

As if 4 jets hitting the same target with 9 missiles is an accident...

but hey, who am I kidding? According to Obama, leveling a MSF Hospital with AC-130 artillery barrage for 30 straight minutes counts as an accident

In other news, Russia brings over heavy T-90 tanks to boost three Syrian warfronts

Looks like the Russians are going all-in. Anti-tank missiles provided by the US in ISIS controlled areas pose a definite problem so it's no brainer to use MBTs that are equipped with ERA.

Is WWIII going to happen soon?

My theory is that WW3 is an economic war.

Starting December 16, expect the economic nuke to come crashing all over the place.

Dec 16 is the start of the winter solstice. So many things are attributed to the winter solstice like the Mayan 2012 countdown , the star of Bethlehem and the 3 kings, the birth of Christ, the polar shift etc

Dec. 16 is an ancient phenomenon
