    DUH!

why would i go around killing people? i'm not a violent person

i dont wanna screw up my life by killing someone

i don't want the stress of hiding from people who will take revenge on me for killing their loved one

i don't wanna get jailed. i don't wanna lose my freedom. i don't wanna ruin my life

what kind of a question is that?

just coz you don't believe in God meron ka na license to kill?

what kind of thinking is that?

IF BELIEVING IN GOD IS THE ONLY THING STOPPING YOU FROM KILLING PEOPLE THEN YOU ARE A VERY DANGEROUS PERSON

what if you lose your faith?

    you become a mass murderer?

    --

and an equally dangerous person is one who kills coz his God told him to

    --

btw, yung nangyari sa Maguindanao... yung kila Ampatuan...

    ummm... atheists be sila?

meron ganyan. tawag dyan thrill killer. or pag paulit ulit ginagawa -- serial killer

eh may batas eh. so bawal

wala nga written rule, but that doesnt mean he'll get away with murder. he'll be hunted down

    --

    --

    walang impyerno dude

    wala

besides, you can always ask for forgiveness

    hehe

Pero iisa lang ang premise ng pagiisip nila: “That their religion is the one true religion; that their God is the one true God.” All fundamentalists, including suicide bombing jihadists rely on that same exact premise in order to carry out unconscionable acts of mass destruction and murder.

To answer the question, the difference lies in you. Nobody can impose it unto you. You may or may not believe in God. And it may or may not make in difference. Depends in your OWN perspective.
I don’t see the point in finding meaning in this current life with the belief that we will be given another one after we die. The more we believe that this is the only life that we’re given, the more we’re likely to make the most out of it.

One need only look at his family and friends to realize that there are many things that make our stay in this planet meaningful and inspiring. I don’t think that believing in the existence of a blissful afterlife brought about by a bronze age mythical figure contributes to that feeling anymore than thinking there’s a refrigerator-sized diamond in your backyard—it would both be great if it were true but absolutely no reason to believe that they actually are.

Psychopathic murderers would commit unjustified acts of killing regardless of what they actually believed in. In fact, if they really wanted to kill, they will find no shortage of instructions in the Bible and the Quran to do so:

Anyone arrogant enough to reject the verdict of the judge or of the priest who represents the LORD your God must be put to death. Such evil must be purged from Israel. (Deuteronomy 17:12 NLT)
You should not let a sorceress live. (Exodus 22:17 NAB)
A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortuneteller shall be put to death by stoning; they have no one but themselves to blame for their death. (Leviticus 20:27 NAB)
Whoever strikes his father or mother shall be put to death. (Exodus 21:15 NAB)
If a man commits adultery with another man's wife, both the man and the woman must be put to death. (Leviticus 20:10 NLT)
A priest's daughter who loses her honor by committing fornication and thereby dishonors her father also, shall be burned to death. (Leviticus 21:9 NAB)
But if this charge is true (that she wasn't a virgin on her wedding night), and evidence of the girls virginity is not found, they shall bring the girl to the entrance of her fathers house and there her townsman shall stone her to death, because she committed a crime against Israel by her unchasteness in her father's house. Thus shall you purge the evil from your midst. (Deuteronomy 22:20-21 NAB)
"Slay them wherever you find them...Idolatry is worse than carnage...Fight against them until idolatry is no more and God's religion reigns supreme." (Surah 2:190-)
"Fighting is obligatory for you, much as you dislike it." (Surah 2:216)
"If you should die or be slain in the cause of God, His forgiveness and His mercy would surely be better than all the riches..." (Surah 3:156-)
"Seek out your enemies relentlessly." (Surah 4:103-)

    ^^^^

and while in the act of killing someone (as instructed by your religion) you would actually feel good doing it coz you believe what you're doing is right and you believe you'll be rewarded for following instructions

He therefore delayed publishing his theory for over 20 years, agonizing over the decision of whether or not to publish. His hand was forced in 1858, when he learned that the naturalist Alfred Wallace was about to publish the same theory. His fears proved true -- the reaction from the Church was shock, disappointment and anger. The world-wide attacks on his character, theories and personal life are common knowledge now, but he was saved from physical harm for two reasons. First, nearly the entire scientific community was quick to see the soundness of his theories, and rallied immediately to his defense. Second, the age of the Inquisition and other torture-based persecutions had finally passed.

Quint, you are BLIND and in DENIAL.
Why do you say that I am blind and in denial when I'm perfectly in search of the truth? If you are convinced with your truth that there is no God, then present it with the facts the way ULS is trying to present it.

Today, there is openness between science and religious communities. There is a lot of evidence now that points to a Supreme Being, an Intelligent Designer, a God. But if you're not open-minded, then I'll leave it to you. That is all what I'm saying.

And I'm not even talking about religion here, I'm talking about personal faith.

You can say that its the biggest lie in history, but before you concluded that, have you completely exhausted why this was concluded as a big lie. You may just find out and discover the truth. Can you prove that Jesus was a lie? A farce? Not the Son of God?

What Will Be The Difference In Our Lives If We Dont Believe In God?
