There was a time binawalan ni SM mag bring your own food sa cinemas nila, dapat purchased from their snack bar. Dami nagreklamo mga food tenants. Binawi ni SM.

SM cinema megamall, kadiri malagkit ang floor.

kasi cathey pag pasok ng new type of cineme eh dahil sa glorietta parang kakagraduate ko college. Yung girlfriend ko at that time eh lagi kami sm megamall. So choices dati ng cinema iilan pa lang.

Malayong malayo natipid ngayon.

Last ko 2019 on my last day at work before leaving for the US. Libre din popcorn and drinks sa Uptown. I rarely watch movies na nga haha! Pero when I do at Glorietta or Greenbelt, I always buy wendy's or taters or burger king din pala

    Wala na bang Wendy's?

Halos kami lang tao. I like it

gusto ko puntahan yung fisher mall supermarket, kasi sa FB marami nagpost parati may sale or meron sila mga hard to find items

BTW has anyone noticed, dati kasi I would hoard fiesta ham saka CDO holiday ham on January kasi nag 50% off (usually ang expiration nyan Q4 of the same year), pero ngayon parang walang sale?

If your talking about SM malls closing but what about Ikea they have yet to open the biggest Ikea yet here in pasay and the last time I visit it seems they are ready to open this year.

    nope Ikea won't close

i put Ikea in the same category as Wilcon / "home depot" type stores --- HOME IMPROVEMENT is definitely here to stay

dahil sa pandemic / lockdown people stayed home more

doon na-realize ng mga tao kailangan pala ng nice comfortable home not just a place to sleep

(pre-pandemic people treat their homes like boarding house... lagi nasa labas... uuwi lang para matulog, ligo, pupu, bihis)

there will definitely be demand for ikea

I almost forgot na during my teens madalas kami ng friends ko sa park. We'd meet friends, play sports, smoke or just hang out. Dati pala maraming "milagro" nangyayari sa cars around the park kaya active security to check on those running idle LOL. Going to the park was one of the things pala that my friends and I stopped doing as adults.

Makes me wonder if teens nowadays still go to parks.

Saan ba grumadweyt kasi?????

If you want to be leader dapat marunong ka makipag-ahway pumalag.

Buti dito sa true qc nagiimprove step by step. Meron malalaki eskinita ginawa one side parking. But yung maliit na kalsada bawal na dapat parking all sides.

Ang gawin kasi ng local government eh buy back the land yung community maliliit cut na bahay tapos gawin mini parkeh. Yung depopulate the area. Less livable land = less popuation.

Basic......

by itself, the cinema probably doesn't support a lot of employees and their families... unless we count the people involved in making movies.
but the moviehouse does attract people to the mall, where they spend their money.

the direct effect of the moviehouse on the economy may be minimal,
but the indirect effect it has in generating income from "allied businesses" can be substantial.
