malaki din ang natatangap ng mga taga judiciary lalaong lalo na mga JUSTICES ng Supreme Court... may SAJ JDF, Allowance from jbc, allowance comming fr. the local govt etc. etc. etc.... ang mga taga lower court palang nga doble doble ang benefits na natatangap nila ang isang lowly utility sa judiciary can receive as much as 150-160K allowance and benifits in a year... eh d hamak na mas malaki ang natatangap ng mga JUSTICES NG supremecourt... ayun nga ang renereklamo ng mga taga lower court kung bakit d hamak na mas malaki ang natatangap ng mga nasa s.c. especially the JUstices pati ang mga judges sa lower court.... ex. saj (special allowance for the judiciary originally it is called special allowance for the judges and justices) empleyado 2.5k -3k... judges and justices 60-70k...

So, the question stands. Would the salary and allowances of an honest, sitting SC Justice be enough to buy a 300sqm condo at The Fort? A lowly utility worker getting Php 150k monthly? More for judges? Damn. Who said they weren't being paid enough?

Had I known, I would've opted to join the judiciary.

I suppose you're talking about an "honest" government employee who has no mouths to feed, no rent to pay, no dependents to send for schooling. Oh, and add to that, he or she probably belongs to Salary Grade IV or higher and serving more than twenty years in government. Otherwise, there's NO WAY IN HELL that these people get Php 10Million in what? Less than ten years of government service? Unless these employees you mentioned are part of the MWSS or any other GOCC which declares huge bonuses or doles out big allowances and perks, regardless of the financial performance of their companies.

yep kaya nga sabi ko government executives...lalo na yung mga nasa GOCC... may kilala ako ng manager sa isang GOCC.. after working for almost 30 years... laki ng nakuha kasi meron daw sila fund... na naipon for 30 years...

base sa pagkakaintindi ko sa news eh lumaki lang daw ng 8M yung difference ng SALn ni corona.... para saken parang masyado maliit yung 8M na difference eh... from 14M to 22M?? kung mag corrupt ka eh di lubos lubosin mo na 100M agad hehehe

Nagtataka lang ako Kay corona and Midas Marquez bakit ginagamit pa yun resources ng SC? Why is Marques not ceasing to be corona's spokeperson? Eh meron ng mga spokemen Si corona for this case?

Bakit nag presscon pa Si Midas after na trap yun clerk of court ng SC? Na kesyo na authorize na daw ni corona yun pag release ng SALN...

If Midas wanted to continue to speak on behalf of corona, mag leave of absence muna siya Sa SC as administrator and spokeman

possible yang 10 million na yan sa kanila especially kung may expertise at kilala na.

for example, a professor in a state university can go on leave (with or without pay) to work in an international institution (WB, UN, ADB, FAO, etc) with a salary of around US$100,000 per annum. plus consultancy work pa. i know some people who did a 4 man-month consultancy and earned US$10,000. so possible, di ba??? kung may 10-20 years career kang ganyan, pwede.

for judges and lawyers, mas pwede yan lalo na kung cliente mo malalaking corporation.

Syempre, ito ay possible lang kung magaling at kilala ka sa field mo. kung janitor ka lang, malabo except kung may sariling business or nanalo sa lotto.
