well, tbfh nearly all candidates have violated the election rules
well, tbfh nearly all candidates have violated the election rules
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
No, he doesn't have to pay, he needs to be disqualified. Neither am I saying that my candidate is perfect, what I am saying is that Gordon being a lawyer, must know the provisions governing billboards. Because from the way he is being portrayed here, he is someone like a demigod who's going to save the country from all its ills. But indeed the truth is that he is also capable of doing unlawful things.
ah, well, you'd end up voting for nobody as Gordon isn't the only guy who "violated" the election rules
besides, I'm still waiting for celebrity endorsers to get fired. law applies to everyone after all
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
Well, as far as I can recall, it is only Gordon and Eddie Villanueva who were actually being charged for violation of the election code. As to your insinuation, the comelec had already ruled that no election offense is committed by celebrity endorsers in campaigning for candidates.
ah well, so much for the pre-campaign period ads![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
when i said "gordon must pay", hindi po yun literal, ano ba???
tama si safeorigin, most of the candidates have broken a rule, one way or another, and i believe that. now that brings up a more interesting argument... so, for the sake of argument, let's tag everybody as corrupt: corrupt si noynoy, corrupt si villar, corrupt si erap, corrupt si gibo, corrupt si gordon... now, what edge does noynoy or the other candidates have over the others?
if Gordon violated an election code, then he must be disqualified para mabawasan na ang kandidato. kakahiya tayo sa buong mundo, sa ibang bansa lagi dalawa lang naglalaban dito dami-dami gusto maging presidente parang lotto na gusto mapalanuhan. basta more than 2 talaga circus
basahin ang comments dun sa article obvious na hindi impartial ang Comelec.
right... and posting political ads just right after Ondoy came isn't corrupt![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
By all means, this guy should not really win.

I don't see anything wrong about it if the people will really vote for that particular candidate. Besides, it's true that a long standing mayor will just replace himself with a relative which is what happened to my town. People love how he executes so people voted for him.
As for equal opportunities, it all comes down to votes. Same reason also why political dynasties exist. The Dy's for example are seated firmly because people voted for them. They earned the trust of the people over the years so there they are.
That's just how democracy works.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
kaya nga PREMISE e! a premise is an assumption, so it can't be mistaken. good grief!
i think that was your way of evading a valid question. so here i am, reposting the question again:so, for the sake of argument, let's tag everybody as corrupt: corrupt si noynoy, corrupt si villar, corrupt si erap, corrupt si gibo, corrupt si gordon...
what edge does noynoy have over the others IN THE ASSUMPTION that he's corrupt too?
the reason i ask is not so i can bash your candidate, but for me to understand your line of thinking. this is a way of dissecting your candidate.
ang simple simple ng tanong, pinapaikot pa... para tuloy may tinatago...
I heard they're advocating transparency![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
I'm not evading your question, I'm correcting it. And my line of thinking is not important. To say that your premise is an assumption is bordering on the hypothetical. Before you make a premise, there must be basis. Obviously, there is none because he is not corrupt.
Nonetheless, assuming he is corrupt at least he is not violating any election law especially the billboard.
