I regret if you got the impression that I was dropping names. What I was doing was merely trying to remind people that standards should be the same for any situation, and not change depending on any particular agenda. So if those who favor de Lima do not think pictures with convicted drug lords implicate her, the same reasoning should also apply to somebody else even if that somebody else happen to be on the opposite side of the political fence.

Am I correct in assuming you are trying to point out what you think are qualities of an effective leader ? And that "decency" ranks high in your list ? Am I also correct in thinking that you want to impose your own criteria on other people, on something that is not only personal but more importantly political as well ?

Also, are you actually giving much more importance to "decency" (your own words) over I don't know, much more trivial stuff like political will, character, serving the true majority, or actual ability to run a nation ?

Because anybody can pretend to be decent, it does not actually take much to wear a suit and tie everyday, speak in flawless American-accented English, talk only of politically-correct topics, promise the world to those who could not wait to be lied to........these are all easily done thru the help of PR consultants, teleprompters and political strategists. The deeper, more important stuff however, are more difficult to have.
