So it will be difficult to be counterfeited

The bar code is laser printed a technology deemed not available locally

Barcoded plate coupled with proper database keep the integrity of a plate better

oh i'm sure those people who came up with the idea to replace ALL license plates in the country has the country's best interest in mind

i'm sure the thought of making money from that idea never crossed their minds

    whatever

Kasalanan daw ng mga embassies, hindi daw sinabi sa kanya at hindi kino-control ang aktibidad ng mga private nationals nila. Eh bakit yung Chinese ambassador hindi mo minumura for every gram of shabu smuggled into the country?

Counterfeiters can copy a plate numbers easy, but now they have to contend with laser printing and database to match the numbers with the barcode

This makes counterfeiting of plate numbers more expensive. Any counterfeiters need to have access to laser printer to produce a seemingly legit plate

That's why I posted that the bar codes don't work. Ideally, it should be just like what you posted. But I don't think those guys that suggested that we have all our plates changed had any intentions of doing that. I think the stuff they said about the new plates was just sales talk.

Well if local manufacturing is the solution, how come the current admin hasnt tapped a local manufacturer to correct the problem?

Barcoding has been adapted by many industries for inventory and security purposes

    it's not broken

    don't fix what's not broken

the car license plate issuing system wasn't broken

the previous admin was concerned about counterfeit license plates?

    that's their excuse?

so they set out to fix the whole goddam license plate issuing system?

how has their solution worked so far?

    it's more broken now

Dr. Dayan concluded that Mr. Duterte was suffering from “Antisocial Narcissistic Personality Disorder,” a condition characterized by “gross indifference, insensitivity and self-centeredness,” “grandiose sense of self-entitlement and manipulative behaviors,” and “pervasive tendency to demean, humiliate others and violate their rights and feelings.” Does that sound familiar?

From the article:

There are two major differences, and the first is that President Duterte has been psychologically examined, because it was a requisite for marriage annulment proceedings. And as I mentioned in a previous column, his examiner was Dr. Natividad Dayan, former president of the International Council of Psychologists.

Dr. Dayan concluded that Mr. Duterte was suffering from “Antisocial Narcissistic Personality Disorder,” a condition characterized by “gross indifference, insensitivity and self-centeredness,” “grandiose sense of self-entitlement and manipulative behaviors,” and “pervasive tendency to demean, humiliate others and violate their rights and feelings.”

OB take the advice of Karen Davila:

#1 Don’t just read the headlines
Many are guilty of reacting to the headline without reading the story. This is also the reason why people can’t verify the facts right away.

Not a fan of the current administration.

Almost everything is built on lies and fake news.
