    alam nyo babagsak talaga ekonomiya

    1. because of the call center, delikado talaga eto industry coz naimbento ng AI
    2. because of smartphones, for some reason enjoy na tao nakatutok sa entertainment every day/night sa kani-kanila smartphones and im talking about class C,D, and E na usually yan ang nagpapagalaw ng ekonomiya coz of their purchases. stop spending sila
    3. na-proven ng Uber ban, na artificial pala ang credit rating natin na kesyo mataas daw ang GDP pero yun pala lahat ng pera inuutang lang para bumili ng public vehicle

so I doubt you can blame MyPres here, pati tayo blameable dito.

good luck na lang saten next year, sobrang dami shop/resto/mall closures tayo ma-witness na. at pag walang retail, ano na susuplyan ng corporate

Psst. Be kind to the autistic.

Besides, I don't think PNoy is special.

He just completely lacks an empathic faculty.

    Just like Duterte.

Only difference is he's not a psycho.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Korean firms leave Philippines for Vietnam | Business, News, The Philippine Star | philstar.com

“When I asked them why they are leaving the Philippines, (they said it’s because) the cost is too high. It’s almost three times higher than Vietnam’s. This higher cost is killing manufacturing and that is why the Korean companies are leaving and moving to Vietnam,” he said.

    That'a what brads are for...

Senate finance committee chair Loren Legarda, citing Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II beside her, said the two were sacked and that there is a total of P49,999,000 funds surrendered, just P1,000 short for the case to be plunder.
Ex-BI officials in Jack Lam bribery avoid plunder with missing P1,000

ayaw ko lang mag salita coz overwhelming anti du30 dito though i'm not exactly pro duterte

look at retail stocks (puregold, robinsons retail etc)

notice retail stocks are performing better than the pse index

    why?

stock investors are anticipating the elimination of income tax on the lowest wage earners

that will free up a lot of spending power

keep in mind the Phil. economy is consumer driven not export driven

I'm just wondering how much of a boost it will make in spending if they do raise the fuel tax.

I'm pretty sure, however, there's an opportunity there for banks to offer car loans to lower income buyers.

    -

    Babaha nanaman ng repo cars.

    -

BTW, see the stats on US car loans lately? A trillion dollars underwater.

Too bad no one is keeping track of turnover here. Wonder how bad it's getting.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

yeah US subprime car loans are crazy

thing about US car loans is that they're securitized and sold to investors so risk is transferred from financial institutions to investors

dito yata they don't securitize car loans

    loans stay on banks' books

subprime car loans are many times crazier in the US than here coz US lenders have less incentive to check creditworthiness of borrowers coz lenders quickly sell the loans after they're created

at least here lenders do a lot of verification work

but still a lot of people who really can't afford monthly payments are approved

Yan ata yun tinatawag na underground economy. madaming pera sa street level, which is what the retail you mentioned tapping now, daming savemore kung saan saan lang. In turn, yun mga sari sari store or yun maliliit na supermarket ang tatamaan since ang tao mas gusto mamili sa big names na supermarket.

But we also cannot ignore yun mga economic indicators above kasi syempre may domino effect pa din yun. need lang i balance.

yun news about CSR mejo hinde ko na gets, Lets say this company ABC selling x product should inititiate CSR, like giving to charities, building schools, etc. treating their employee very well, walang over worked? parang ganun ba yun?
If yes, i doubt our asian rivals are doing the same on their country.

Siguro above all dapat babaan singil ng kuryente, if meralco and napocor loose an X amount of money on something they invested then it is not the problem of the subscribers, kaso hinde eh pasa din sa subs pag nalugi sila. Bakit pag kumita ba ininvest nila do they give rebates to us subscribers? hinde diba. well ganun siguro talaga pag monopolize ang basic needs sa bansa.

yun ginagawa ni Injap ang bantayan nyo, ive been monitoring Citymalls for quite some time now.

basically this Jollibee led startup eh ang ginagawa eh nag-oopen ng mga mini-malls sa mga barrio na mga tipong hindi accessible or not that popular and then meron Jollibee, watson, inasal, and others na owned ng SM and Jollibee.

tapos ang isang napansin ko they provide livelihood loans on the locals so that they can encourage people in these areas na bagsak since birth to move up.

If Injap succeeds in these promising project, eh di para sya nag bubuild ng isang future. city imagine mo isang barrio lang sa suldan kudarat o cotabato, biglang maging sikat sa mapa.

in older times, church ang nauuna diba para biglang magkarun ng community, ngaun it's Citymalls

look at those once sleeping philippine barrios na inoopen-an nya, ngaun ko lang narinig yan mga places na yan

kaya nga natatawa na lang ako sa mga anti-duts, sinasayang oras lagi kakatira sa admin. eh ako nag-invest ako dito noh, a year ako pa ako bumile ng interest earning bonds eh.

look at people at the picture, kita mo naman daming tao sa probinsya pero walang pamasahe, pero ngaun meron na sila mall even if they so far from civilization

originally, ayoko ipost to sa public forum, secret investment ko to ever since eh, pero since nakikita na madami na papasaya ang fellow countrymen natin sa liblib na pook eh di okey!
