I can predict Mocha's answer:
"Bakit, sinabi ko bang nasa Pilipinas yan?"
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
How true that the sick man is dying? Wikileaks Pinas has been quite active lately talking about a stage 3 cancer.

Looking For Right And Wrong In The Philippines | BuzzFeed

It is change built on fear - and powered by force of will rather than reform of laws. But in a country where people don't trust their institutions, where the law's grip is loose and shaky, where the legal system has been used to hide corruption, justify authoritarianism, silence the press, and jail dissidents — in a place like that, who better to turn to than a man who goes out and says what so many have been thinking for years: F_ck your laws. Trust me, Duterte tells his people, and hold on for the ride. And so the people have placed their faith in a demagogue.
They trust him not because he is righteous, but because he resists the old order. Perhaps they are wrong to do so. Already, Duterte has admitted that his drug war spiraled out of control, giving cover to rogue cops, vigilantes, and drug lords who kill to further not public safety but their own interests, targeting rivals and enemies. Already, the president has announced that he is considering expanding martial law from Mindanao to the whole country - but who even needs nationwide martial law when you have the mandate of overwhelming public support? This is the most troubling aspect of Duterte’s rise, the way he has reached this popularity even while openly undermining democratic principles. But the more desperate a people, the more they are willing to sacrifice. What Filipinos crave is not an executive but a savior.
Bless Justice Carpio for pointing out the glaringly obvious, but for reasons unknown, lost to this admin. I appreciate that someone at his level did it.
PH-China joint military exercises don’t make sense, says Carpio | INQUIRER.net Mobile
“It is like someone is robbing your house and you have to look for someone to help you. You do not go to a robber to help you, you go to your neighbor or to the police,” Justice Carpio said during the Meet the Inquirer Multimedia event.
^ Kinda like asking Misuari, Zamboanga siege mastermind, to help out in Marawi
^one look the other way with grease money to fund dutertes ambitious infra projects coming from the chinese
Its quite unfortunate for us (citizens) because we pay + interest for these projects
The sad part is we lose territory in the process and still were made to believe that we owe them a great deal for everything

Duterte on Japan: I know we will be with them for all time | INQUIRER.net
Unlike with the United States which he tried to distance the country from, the President was friendlier with Japan and is even willing to fight with them.
“Our ties with Japan is historical and I know that we will be with them for all time. They can count on our gratitude for helping us and also our friendship to fight with them,” he said.
“We have so many problems in this world and I said we are friends, historical ones. We have a lot to say thank you to you. And I’d like Japan to know that we are a people of gratitude,” he added.
Hmm...Japan currently has beef with North Korea and his best friend, China. So how exactly will that "fight with them" deal go if push comes to shove?
Then there's this. Mag thank you rin kaya siya?
New weapons from US to be used by PH Marines in Marawi | INQUIRER.net
Duterte offering 10 million for neutralization of Isnilon Hapilon.
If the guy were at large, then maybe it would make sense...but now that the guy is trapped in Marawi, and with 5,000 MILF fighters in the picture, is this a good idea?
If he's banking on Hapilon's men betraying him...i just don't see how any of the Maute will be able to walk away from Marawi with the money and their lives.
Baka madistract pa yung sundalo at MILF fighters from their main objective of destroying the Maute/ISIS

I don't get that either. But most likely he'll find someone there who'll laugh at his rape jokes.
Re: loans for territory, I don't think they consulted the finance department. Mahina sa math ang negotiator hehe.
So now the territory is practically China's, while these questionable loans that surely favor China are in the works. I don't know how he supposedly will bring out the "shelved" arbitral ruling in the future. How do you do that when you owe China a huge amount that will probably be impossible to pay back?
I bet Xi can't believe how lucky he is to have all this landing on his lap. I don't think in his wildest dreams he would've thought it were possible.
Leave it to other countries to stick out their necks and fight our battles for us.

Thank you USA, Australia and Japan."They expressed strong opposition to the use of coercion to unilaterally alter the status quo in the South China Sea, and their opposition to the use of disputed features for military purposes," the Australian, US and Japanese defense ministers said in a joint statement issued on June 3.
