Even before Duterte -- and yes, hard as it is for some people to believe, even before P-Noy, or GMA Marcos and beyond -- dirty cops have run extortion rackets. It's not at all a stretch of the imagination for them to put your name in a "list" and extort money to make the problem go away.

i can't help but think that the current political climate emboldens them even more. Think about it: dirty cops puts your name on a list, you get called to the police station, they extort money. You refuse, threaten to expose them, next thing you know, you've been "nanlaban"-ed or "nang-agaw"-ed.

Look what happened to the Riarte case, and the Antipolo cops. It took a Senate hearing for them to take action.

i guess it's Bato's job to take the side of the cops, but imho, as loyal as he is to the honest cops, he should be equally brutal, maybe even moreso, against dirty cops. If anything, he should have prioritized a cleanup of the PNP before engaging in this war on drugs.

On that note, since it's these trolls themselves who support scrapping due process and are promoting the government's shame campaigns in the name of the War against Drugs, I think it's about time that we also take the War against Trolls seriously.

OB, this admin has not proven anything yet except that they can kill on a whim. There is no solid proof that proliferation of illegal drugs have reduced unless you quote the social media who have been unfortunately controlled by the trolls like you.
