When digong mentioned his plan to relax the bank secrecy law, there was a uneasy silence and delayed reaction from the lawmakers. Delikado masilip na ang accounts nila.

Duterte: Don’t use human rights as excuse to destroy PH
President Rodrigo Duterte in his first State of the Nation Address (Sona) on Monday vowed to uphold human rights but said this should not be used as an excuse to destroy the country.
“Human rights must work to uplift human dignity. But human rights cannot be used as a shield or excuse to destroy the country,” Duterte said.Kamot ulo na lang ang ma lagyan ng placard nito. You can no longer defend yourself in the court of law, because you're dead."Mother Mary cradling the cadaver of Jesus"
Human Rights? Nah, nang laban po yan.![]()
"My measures will not be crippled by any bureaucracy. Here I don't have to worry about justice; my mission is only to*destroy*and to exterminate; nothing*more."
"Shoot first and inquire afterwards, and if you make*mistakes, I will protect you."
Sound familiar? Oh don't worry the guy who said those words died after World War 2. His name? Hermann Goering who was assigned chief of the Prussian Police by Adolf Hitler, before taking over the German Air Force.

If Pres. Duterte would like to achieve what Secy. Andanar is describing, he should have spoken in Cebuano and Tagalog, the language of the streets. Obviously it's just another day of work for him, confused on his "spins".
hmmm... not sure why he despises capitalism.
it's not like we invented everything western civilization had to offer for the past thousand years for ourselves![]()
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?
hay so admire him talaga. I too have that lingering question. how can capitalism and equality co-exist? in capitalism, those who work hard more naturally should have more. but in equality, whether you're a janitor or a boss you should be equally treated, and therefore, should be afforded the same benefits under the government regardless of status.
pano yun? if ever asked those questions to amongst yourselves. say for example you work hard for your company and then the company just throws a jollibee party just like the rank and file. kung boss ka, you'd feel unrewarded or unappreciated coz of capitalism. but you did all the work to push your company forward

This I tip my hat off to sigong. Harinawa magkatutuo. And the reduction to corporate and personal income taxes? That would be another story and I would be more curious to know where to get the revenue to balance the budget. Most probably by curbing corruption at the BOC and BIR but the easiest would be to increase VAT.

My take is first and foremost,- curbing corruption bro...
Remember, it is taught in one of the more prominent business schools here, that if you mitigate corruption then the BOP is zero....
I'd like to have my money and spend it as I wish it; And worry about the VAT later....(Yes,- increasing the VAT is the second thing in that scenario)....
Di ba ROHQ kayo?...
