April 21st, 2016 09:23 AM #1372Bakit nmam kc nagingialam s local politics sila or bka nman nag comment lng. Hirap din kc s mga local news natin ngayon, iba ung sinasabi ng tao pero ppiltin nila baguhin ung storya. Anyway, ok din nman sabihan na shut up sila para alam na nila na d basta basta pede diktahan si duterte. But I really think he loves this country, ung my pride ba but sad to say ung iba eh parang wala ng pride. Peace po[emoji846].

*XTO, exactly. People just fail to see the improvements. Tinitignan lagi: MRT (which is a result of the collective issues building up from the past administrations to the present). Walang plaka (which is an irritant more than anything else so long as they allow us to use our cars on the road with the conduction sticker... I'd rather have that then the wang wang culture during the previous admin). Mamasapano had shortcomings but at the end of the day, it was a encounter between combatants (what the Ampatuans did to non-combatants never garnered that kind of backlash - although i am disappointed at how slow the progress of that case is under the Aquino admin). Traffic and slow infra take-up (they are trying to fix the process and what people who have been working with the DPWH since the Martial Law days say that this admin has done much more to clean things up for the long run. Also, i personally think the worsened EDSA traffic is also a result of the NLEX - SLEX link construction).
Just look at all the people travelling, filling up the malls even on weekdays, taking-on increased consumerism. That is a good sign of the progress we've had. Analysts say though that with the momentum we have, the next president should just continue but for the real progress to trickle down to the common Filipino in the long run, we need a good 2-3 administrations (10-15 years) of consistently good GDP numbers.
Personally, none. What i have and what my family has is out of our own hard work. Whether it be Martial Law, coup attempts, Asian crisis, Erap, World Financial crisis, etc... we just soldiered on even if we are for or against the powers-that-be. There are times you are up, there are times you are down.
What I look at is what our country has to gain or to lose in the long term.

Baloney. It takes years to build the confidence of the investors (local and foreign) but it will take only 1 stupid decision from the government to destroy the trust and next thing you know, businesses will be transferred to Malaysia or India. They wouldnt care about how much they have invested in the Philippines as ROI is short and cost of capital is relatively low. It is the employees who will stand to lose. So be careful in choosing the next president who will provide continuity and sustain economic progress.

April 21st, 2016 10:07 AM #1376Though I agree that foreigners should not meddle with our politics, Duterte has failed to realize that he is the perceived frontrunner, attention is on him and that everything he says can be used against him.

April 21st, 2016 10:12 AM #1378For the sake of argument, granting that what kris did is illegal or an act of corruption or an election offense, I feel that she will get away with it. The media, along with everyone, is more interested with the current front runner and flavor of the season, duterte. LOL

Sabi mo kaya yan... Sabi naman ni Digong in 3-6 months tangal ang krimen sa Pinas. So kaya ba? 0 crime rate na ba ang Davao after 20 years?
Ah ok. So Wala pa Lang locally released na delicą dito. Pinapakyaw kasi Ng mga outdoor lovers...
