As long as you're not holding the device where Waze is running on with you hand then I don't see any problem with it.

Dapat siguro pag nakastop sa stoplight or nakapark sa gilid while using phone di pwede hulihin. Pano tayo magnanavigate. O kaya iseset mo lang music. O kaya you have to reply sa important message.

i always give the ringing phone to my co-pilot.
otherwise, it's "i'm sorry. but the owner is currently driving. please text your message and he will get to you at the next stopover".

Tapos pag long trip nuod pa movie.

Driver just be happy driving. Focus on the road.

Btw, I was referring to the new law that was just signed just a few days ago.

Not sure about the details of this new law, if they would require drivers to have their phones affixed to the dash or phones are totally banned while driving.

Cars there don't have voice recognition? My wife's car have voice recognition/bluetooth. When her Filipina friends call, it's like they're in the car with us.

    Hands-free.

Kala ko matagal ng Batas to no texting while driving? Bakit parang revision lang.

My current company doesn't allow us to use phone while driving even hands free device.

I haven't been into a car that has one yet, but even so this option would still cost quite a bit (voice recognition + navigation bundle), and phones are much more responsive and has more features, so I still prefer smartphones. For me bluetooth connectivity should be enough. :D

Only major disadvantage is the phone will get very hot when driving under a lot of sunlight, as it's placed at the dash area.

Waze has verbal instructions din, so no need to literally look at the phone while driving.

Use a mount na nakatapat sa aircon. Mainit talaga. Naka data, bluetooth, on ang screen, naka charge at naka hotspot pa. Sobrang init talaga

My wife doesn't even need to take her smartphone out of her bag, er purse. All incoming audio is routed through the car sound system. There must be a mic somewhere because I can talk and the caller at the other side can hear me.

If it's just us guys, we'd settle for whatever the dealer gives us. But, my wife knows how to haggle and turn on the charm (she's still a looker).

She got almost all of the Rogue SL's options (including the top nav/console option) for the price of a Rogue SV which is way down on the options scale.

    Edit:

We bought her Rogue back in NY and that state have very strict phone/texting laws. A cop can ticket you if you as much as look down (for an extended period) even while at a stoplight. Here in Arizona, it's kinda like the PH. There are no phone/texting laws yet, I think.

Pero for me,- such "phone discussion",- even if hands-free is a distraction while driving...

the ford ranger and everest and mazda bt50 lang ang alam ko na may voice recognition technology. mazda 6 din yata meron. pair your phone to the hu and you can say "call digong" and it will dial the national mental hospital. pag may text it will read it out for you. pag tagalog yung text paktay kang bata ka.
