sa 15-yr. old diesel L300 ng sister ko, hindi siya nag-o-overheat maski maghapon siya umaandar basta huwag lang hahataw over 80 kph. ewan ko kung bakit? pero we see to it na lang na maintain lang sa 80 kph ang high speed niya para hindi mag-overheat. she uses distilled water nga pla sa kanyang L300.

October 10th, 2007 07:42 PM #13Would it not be a better alternative ifyou replace your engine with a surplus 4D56 unit for Pajero? Kumpleto na ng turbo & Intercooler yun instead of modifying your stock engine. You'll just have to check if your hood touches the Interdooler.

3) Injection pump for 4D56T
Bibili ka ng:
1) Turbocharger unit ng 4D56T
2) Intake system for 4D56T
3) Turbo timer
4) Hoses for injection pump
5) Intercooler unit
6) Hood scoop or imported hood with scoop to cool the intercooler unit
Good luck bro.
Pero pag nasira turbo mo, para ka na nag overhaul ng engine sa cost ng repair. Bio Diesel ka nalang. Kung mabagal yan, baka kailangan lang nyan calibration or overhaul. Mabilis and L200. Nagkaroon ako nyan dati na na-tono mabuti - kayang kaya 150kph up on a non turbo. Humahabol pa sa mga auto sa NLEX.

October 11th, 2007 12:58 AM #15Check your free wheel fan. You may be low on silicone oil or it may be dead. You can also upgrade your fan blade to a fan with more blades than your stock fan - had the same problem with my L200 before - added oil and changed my fan blades. Also, best to install 2 aux fans on your radiator.

may tanung lang sana ako sir, kasi yung 4D56 engine ko medyo maingay anung maganda po gawin para hindi maingay yung engine ko? gusto sana parang sa mga adventure 4D56 sila pero hindi naman gaano maingay makina nila. pinapa tune up ko din pero pag 2matagal medyo umimaingay nanaman yung engine ko.

January 22nd, 2013 11:23 PM #20the engine oil pan between your orig. L200 and pajero is different, L200 is front sump while pajero is rear sump. I saw a 4M40 TDIC with front sump ( I dunno which vehicle came with), swak na swak yon at mas moderno and you get 125 hp! Most of these engines equipped with 4-speed slushboxes, If you find a 4M40 TDIC 4X2 with a stick, that's defintiely a keeper.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
