Getting 6++ km in the city with those types of engines really isnt bad. Our 2.0 Cefiro used to do the same when the traffic gets bads... Heck Toyota Revo owners have it worse.
If you're still under warranty, try to stick to the CASA as much as possible as the warranty may come in handy (on our Sentra, we had some warranty work done right before it expired... saved us a few grand).The 20K service usually is costly as you have to change filters as well. Then, every 40K, all the fluids and filters have to be changed. If you're on a budget, it's still more cost effective to use your mineral oil as changing every 5K is still the best practice in our driving conditions.
Try to observe the performance in the long run... I'm wondering if the QR engines have the same hiccup as the QG engines on the Sentra Grandeur wherein the performance suffers when the MAF gets dirty (which can easily be cured by cleaning the MAF with contact cleaner every 10,000km or so).
