hello, long time lurker.. first time to post.

i also have this problem. usually happens when i'm on my way home from makati. the first time it happened, my dad figured that a fuse was the problem but when he checked the fuses, walang problem naman so we had my x-trail brought to the casa. the solution daw to the problem? just remove the fuse (i can't remember though which fuse corresponds to the remote, door lock & lights.. will have to ask my dad pa) and stick it back in. the reason they gave for that problem was that i passed daw a cell site.. blah blah blah. labo! it happens once in a while.. but we just remove the fuse and put it back in and everything goes back to normal. if anyone knows what really causes this to happen, please help! i don't buy the explanation given by the casa. palusot lang yata!

JohnnyD/Yenners: Try waxing your mags, mas madaling linisin and di masyado kakapit yung brake dust.

question: im not sure if bagay pa lagyan ng step board ang xtrail. what do you guys think? to put or not to put heheheheh

eks: skip on the stepboard, go for a sound setup

actually, na setup ko na yun sounds (sort of).....at saka yun step board free lang yun pero di pa na install..... eh malapit na ako mag pa 1k service so isip ko if kakabit ko pa ba stepboard. heheh just wondering if it would go well with 18 inch rims.

Whats your setup?... Amp? Seps? Subs? Well IMO stepboards don't look good in an X but thats just me, sell it and get the 18" rims, saw some on cardomain, gwapong gwapo.

i haven't installed anything in my car (planning to wait for the warranty to expire before i do)... so i don't think that's the problem.

man! bakit hindi kasama sa warranty yung sa door lock mechanism?! we had to pay 2,600 ++ sa casa to replace a busted module thingy..dad ko kumausap kaya i dont know the exact thing..

oops.. i forgot all about my reverse sensors.. when we bought the xtrail from the casa, we had them install the sensors. could they have messed up somewhere with the wiring when they installed the sensors?

caloyski, hope you can update us re: the busted module if ever you talk to your dad about it.

iluvdetailing, when we asked for the reverse sensors.. kasama na yung distance indicator.

  16. #16

guys question lang, where did you buy your Xtrails? Mantrade ba?

    eks883,

we got our unit from nissan quezon ave too.

I haven't done anything yet to fix the problem so far since my last trip to the casa. I'll have it balanced again on my 1k pms. Try to have the casa balance all 4 tires for you. I maintain a 29psi on all 4 tires as per sticker on the door jamb. Try driving it on smooth asphalt roads like nlex, slex, or skyway. This will give you a more accurate feedback on the wiggle. Sometimes, road imperfections, like the terrible EDSA, may mislead you to think that it's a wiggle problem but it's really not.

If they still could not fix it, my plan is to bring it to a reputable tire balancing shop (maybe goodyear servitek) just to have them check if it is indeed perfectly balanced with 0-0 readings. The problem with casa is you don't see how they do the job. At least if you have it done outside, we can see how they actually do it. Although you will have to spend a few hundred bucks for it.

    good luck!

Na-tu-turn-off na ako sa ah xtrail medyo having some second thoughts of buying one already...before na experience ko na rin yang wiggle sa sentra box type ko na 1.3 pero that was at 150kph, not at 100kph
