guys naka nitrogen po ba yung mga tires ninyo gusto ko din i try mas mababawasan ata tagtag pag naka ganito?
anyway ano po normal PSI nyo sa tires? kasi po yung akin is 37 ang lambot kasi tingnan pag 35PSI....![]()
Bro. ailie28,- I only use 32psi for my ride... Okay naman ang ride....
Pag tumakbo ka kasi,- tumataas ang tyre pressure ng about 2psi... With N2(Nitrogen), the tyre pressure is maintained.... Am not using this now in our rides... Have used this before with our other van a few years back,- I'd say not much difference in performance... Per tyre then, it was P50 when you load N2...

from 6:30am to 6 or 7pm ata natapos pero after that lamig ng aircon sabi hindi pa daw ok yung aircon dahil titimplahin pa daw yung freon..
pag naayos na yung over heat....yung temperature ng van ko nasa 3/4 agad

You should have asked their technician if your clutch fan is still okay. Normally, they would call your attention to it, especially, since they would run the engine for a period of time, to see how the A/C would perform... Balik ka sa kanila to ask their opinion....
Or, you can observe by yourself,- turn off the engine and the clutch fan which is directly driven by the engine should immediately stop. If it moves some more, then that's it. Have it replaced. Also, you only experience the overheat while in traffic, right? (Not, when you're cruising....)

My 15 yr old vanette had the same overheating problem. I bought it brand new and I only use it once a week. I was surprised it overheat in one of my rare travel outside Metro Manila. Several mechanic handled it and it they were not able to solve. The problem was accidentaly discovered when I decided to have the cylinder head removed and checked (the mechanic suspected early worn out valve seal factory defect etc). There was that tube horizontal to the cylinder head under the intake side where water passes thru going to the front I guess and then back to the engine block and cylinder. It was clogged with rust. Had to push it out with a hard wire and water and lo hardened rusts were flushed out. Now its running good again. No overheat.
next time you have your aircon repair, ask the technician first to conduct a test for leak BEFORE REPLACING ANYTING in the system para hindi paulit ulit work and to save on FREON. They wil remove one of the lines in the system and put in air pressure and then wash all joints and lines with SOAP water. Pag may bula na makita sign ng leak yon. All other aircon parts whether brand new or second hand should also undergo leak test para sigurado. Iyong brand new, pag tinanggal mo ang rubber cap sa outlets nya dapat mag POP OUT ang air. Proof yon na wala leak ang unit. Doon palang sa supplier or air con store ginagawa na iyon
If you are in Evangelista, there is one good aircon technician who does that before replacing anyting in your aircon system. His name is Robert. His shop is at the first right turn after the bridge (landmark is ROTARY AIRCON SUPPLIES). You can also ask about his shop at Rotary Aircon Supplies. Look for nick. But dont buy at Rotary Aircon . Good aircon supplies for car is at MRV refrigeration in Aurora Blvd Quezon City
Any idea where to buy original accelerator cable for Vanette in Las Pinas or Sucat paranaque? I tried Advance in Pasay, Nisparts in Banawe and Nisway but all of them offered replacement part only. My mechanic wants an original cable.

Here`s my 2days of suffering
1st day my aircon repair from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm at Ceejay`s
matagal pero naging ok
2nd day my radiator palang changed with 3row evercool from 9am to 3pm
after magpalit OMG! biglang over heat tumabi ako sa eskenita heheh
and then nag usap kami ng mekaniko na nag kabit sabi ko nag over heat
pumunta siya sa pinag tigilan ko..
luckily kapit bahay ko lang siya walking distance
ito naman yung eksenang nag palit ng clutch fan hanggang 9pm sa garahe
ito yung clutch fan na nabili ko i think its repairable?
and then road test sobrang lamig ng makina so ok na
roadtest ulit bukas...balik bukas ulit sa Ceejay`s para maayos ang freon

yung hose nang power steering ko po pinalitan ng ibang hose kasi tumatagas siya dahil may biyak na yung hose dahil parang plastic na siya.sabi ng nag palit ok lang daw palitan ng normal hose lang..
hindi po ba ang need na hose eh yung hydraulic hose dapat? tama po ba? hose or rubber tube ang tawag dun? hehehe
based sa kwento mo parang inefficient pa rin yung 3 rows mo ah..dapat pala inuna mo yung fan clutch..hehe
yung nabili mong fan clutch tama repairable..ganyan din yung sakin kung pareho ng brand...shimahide.
kahit gano kalaki ang volume ng rad mo pag sira fan assy mo talagang overheat ka pa rin.
buti ok na ulit ride mo..pwede na ilayo..pareho na siguro tayong nakakafrozebite ang a/c pagkagawa..hehe.

yung power steering mo kulang pa sa batak ang tension fan belt kaya medyo maninigas konti pagbinira mo. kinalas kasi yan diba?..pabatak mo pa yung tension thru alternator.
yung power steering hose tama ka dapat same spec..pang hydraulic...can withstand high pressure buildup ng pump. pero kung yung hose lang galing sa reservoir to pump or return flow ok na yung pang low pressure pero kaya yung chemical properties ng power steering oil.
Shauskie - Saan ba nakakabili ng hose para sa Power Steering ..yung return lang sa reservior. Salamat Bro.
Aijie - Yung 3rows radiator mo ba meron pang nakakabit na blower sa harap?
^^^ Tama si shauskie,- kung ang pinalitan na power steering hose mo ay galing sa reservoir,- iyong nasa ibabaw ng makina na pinupuno mo ng power steering fluid,- okay lang ang regular na hose dahil low pressure iyan...
I would assume na okay pa ang iyong belt, dahil sasabihin ng CeeJay's sa iyo kung kailangan ng palitan iyan... Tanungin mo ulit sila pagbalik mo... Normally, check lang ulit sila kung may nag-leak after a few days of use (kung baga stress test), although na leak test na nila iyan when they did the repair earlier.
Kailan ang punta mo sa Japan? Kailangang ma-consider ko ito para sa ating next EB... I am also not available din from Sept10-28 dahil may gimik din kami..... Si vanette747,- mukhang out of town din ngayong mga panahon na ito....
