    Hi good day!

I just bought a 2018 nissan navara el calibre AT. First automatic car to own since ibang kotse namin is manual. First i notice sa second day of using the car is 25liter per 100km ang nsa gauge! Avg is 26.

Or is it because im just ignorant kasi it's my first automatic car driven. Strange po kasi. Ang lakas mgrev tsaka nakakaconcern ung fuel econ.

    Metro Manila traffic?

Are you on "D" drive? Or "S"

25L/100 is high but you might have been idling somewhere? What is the average speed? 5kph?

Im driving on D. 30 to 50kph. Not in traffic. Yes 25 is so high.

Maybe your running in a very low tire pressure. Wala bang squeak coming from the wheel, baka may naka stuck pads mo.

as walter says, reset your gauge, po.
you might be reading the sum total of the vehicle's entire fuel use history, from the time it idled in the factory.

Updates include reduced steering ratio and dual rate springs to maintain the ride quality even with heavy loads. Buyers should ask if the 2018 version already has the same updates in the Australian market. The dual rate springs can be easily seen but the tweaked steering calls for a test drive.

No, not my first diesel car but my first automatic car. Yes ill try to reset the meter. Coming from former manual driver, nagdridrive talaga ako ngcomfy way. Konting apak lang pag nasa first gear then change agad to second gear. I dont want to hear the engine rev high kasi prang nahihirapan para sakin. As to this navara, parang nahihirapan sya. Soft or hard press sa accelerator ngrerev ng mataas bago mgvhachange gear at 2k rpm. Is that normal? I can hear the engine make noise at ngrerev. Is that normal? Or im just ignorant since i have no experience sa automatic. Parang hindi kasi comfy driving.

Revving good for the engine, clears out to the carbon deposits ... 2000 rpm is still low ... 4000-5000 would be high rpm in a diesel ...

I agree, this is what I do from time to time. Think of it as an exercise of your engine. Just be sure that before doing so, you already hit the ideal operating engine temp and give your turbo time to cool down brfore turning off.

Kamusta experience niyo? Wala namang issues?

I got my NP300 EL 4x2 Sports Edition Last Feb 2018. So far so good.
Navara got everything a mid size pick up truck has to offer. Plus the ride comfort.
The only sad part was, as i mentioned I got my unit on February, then on the following month when i visited casa for 1st PMS, NP300 EL 4x2 with AVM has been displayed!!!

Nag backread ako and people keep emphasizing na mabigat daw manibela ni np300 kako naman eh mas comfortable pa steering wheel nya kesa montero. Give you the benefit of the doubt.

Hi, planning to buy EL AT 4x2,

San display nung AVM? yung monitor ba nasa rear mirror?

Parang wala kasi akong nakitang monitor sa dash.

    Hi Sir Kluptaeck

Have you tried po idrive yung montero?alternating with NP300?
Because I drive Montero(Gf's) and NP300 (mine) and I felt na mas comfortable yung Montero.
But that's just my case. I bought mine last April of this year and already running 12000kms as of date.

The only downside that I noticed here is that turning radius is wide, and steering is a little bit heavy.
But still tolerable naman. I'm really happy on my purchase kasi It's comfortable to me even on a long drive.

All in all I can say that NP300 is a good buy for me. No regrets

Yes , I have montero also.

    Hi Sir,

i think the new montero(all new) starts at 2016 correct me if i'm wrong. but the 2016 (fiancee's) has a much better steering
compared to our navara's and that's my comparison (its just personal).

Anyway. For me navara was still a very good buy especially the ride comfort .
Buy the way, I'm using a calibre manual np300

Now I'm saving until my tires get worn out then I will be replacing it with a new tire with new set of mags.

I hope someone here would post their aftermarket tire and mags (at) because I do not want to use spacers on our babies.
most of the mags are at PCD 139, and I want to use the np300 specific mags.
