Just went to SM where nissan has display and was able to confirm, NP300 has no EPS.

No qualms with the EPS of my Fiesta. It is much better than on the previous gen City/Jazz. It is even better than the EPS of my FXT.
Wow didn't know that. That variable hydraulic assist would be a good compromise for utes like the NP300. Should still be cheaper to maintain than eps.

The X-trail's eps is pretty good. Bitin lang yung turn. But most crossovers are like that.

I do hope Honda made some improvements on the EPS of the current generation City/Jazz. The EPS of the previous gen City/Jazz is not that responsive and it does not inspire confidence if you feel like pushing it to higher speeds.

Next gen nissan np300/navarra will be a combination of np300 and triton/l200 aka common platform as announced by Carlos Ghosn

    This is expected 2021/2022

Dont expect eps to come soon to the triton and navara and xclass ute.

After knowing that EPS is not on NP300, i tried to look at ford ranger 2.2 4x4 variant, but eps now is available only on their wildtrak 3.2, so I will again consider np300, after all, I am used on hard steering with my current vehicle and besides, the np300 4x4 el mt variant according to their brochure has stability control and LSD, and the mobility 360 cam.

Given the high torque of the Navara, the AT version will still fall back when started in incline? Example is stop and go scenario going up in Megamall parking. Do I still need to use the hand brake as a support like in manual transmission? Thanks in advance.

you dont go neutral in an incline.. you just use the brake pedal.
