NP300 was the original name for South African Nissan double cab pickups, i think starting from the oldest d21.

Navara name came from France after a small town there near the assembly plant. Name was adapted in Europe, Australia during the D22-hardbody era and also called Frontier in the US.

When the D40 came, halo-halo na pangalan nila, NP300 in SA, Navara in AU and EU, Frontier-Navara in US, Ph &rest of asia. D40 naming were carried-over in the D23. IIRC the D22 hardbody scored somewhere 3-4stars in US NHSTA circa 2000's.

Its so happen that Nissan still manufacture those old models in specific markets for their needs. Even the Patrol GU is sold B'New in MidEast and as single-cab pickup in NZ/SA. Like if I'm at Shell, should I go for Fuelsave or Vpower diesel?

the price diff between premium and non premium fuels is too significant withoit knowing how much youre actually getting(more additives) some articles have said 30-120mg/1L but we dont know actual figures.

I was advised to try unioil diesel as it was claimed to be one of the cleaner fuel if not the cleanest. I am not sure though. Any thoughts from the masters here?

shell and petron pa rin sir, unioil ok lang naman yan gamit ko minsan, i buy bulk diesel sir kaya na try ko na lahat yan.

Afaik. Wala po talaga bed covers. . . Ang meron would be the bed liners which come as standard freebies

Oops sorry. Medyo na-confuse ako sa dalawa. May nakita kasi akong post sa fb group lately that a 2019 model is looking for a bed liner. So bed covers are really not included.

Planning to get a hard type tri-fold bedcover, which brand do you suggest? I am also considering the tool box from aeroklas, i'm just not sure if it would be a practical choice. I will also replace the original horn as it sounds terrible. Any suggestions?

I had an Outlander trifold installed by Bruzko Autoworks a couple of days ago (costs about 23-26K depending on where you buy it). I also had a chance to listen to how the Bosch and PIAA horns sounded like at their shop and I think I will have the PIAA horns installed next time as it sounded more masculine.

Just to provide an update for the "LAGUTOK" issue on the NP300 Navara's steering, it was finally resolved (after 2 years) on my unit but was not the same part/s as the initial findings. The parts replaced under warranty are the RACK & PINION (GEAR & LINKAGE PWR) and STEERING JOINT ASSY. It is already 6 days since it was released from casa, and so far, no signs of lagutok yet. It also took 2 days for the casa to replace/repair the mentioned parts.

May lagutok issue rin akin. 2019 model. Kakalabas lang ng symptoms. 1319km pa. May naririnig akong thud upon deceleration/slow speed. Ano kaya ito... coming from the front right side. I can subtlety feel the thud sa steering or chassis.
