Thinking of DIY on spare time just doing some more research about risk of damage from incorrect torque/ pre-load crush gaskets and a 33mm socket w/c is hard to find.

Also need to diagnose if gasket wear is due high k's, crossjoints, drive shaft, or breather tube, but so far no vibrations or harsh NVH on tail-end.
Bro, pasensya na can't help you much on the DIY stuff. Ikaw lang naman ang McGyver dito.

Reading your posts makes me want to sell mine sometimes. I know I won't have the necessary mechanical dexterity to do what you can when the car needs it.

Been hearing some squeaks from the front end lately. Looks like the makeshift shock mount bushes are wearing out already.

Anyone know a good supplier of shock mount bushes? Most stores only sell them with shocks. My Koni shocks are still good. Don't feel like buying shocks just so I can use the bushings hehe

No prob bro, that is why I am sharing my experience as to help also others especially those worn parts that could be easily DIYd. With the vehicle age, these parts are normal wear and tear. I could opt to ignore but i'm OC with maintenance especially those that could make more damage. Yung mga dent dent ding dings at bumper benders diko na pinapansin, after all this is a farm truck. hehe

I got the P200 tool, have to machine if it would'nt fit as to no thin-walled available.

If that is a clunking sound when vehicle is shifting weight, then there's a high possibility of worn front body mount as this is a common problem with D40. Shock mounts and bushings as i've inspected would'nt make sound with simple movement because of the heavy duty insulation material and the springs plus weight of the vehicle that compresses it. Body mounts otoh made of rubber and center rod prone to rusting having lots of surface area of contact makes the sound.

Here's the looks of my body mount before i replaced it, notice the rust stain signs of center nut corroding. Nasobrahan yata ng carwash at swimming sa baha. hehe Fender liner needs to be removed to see these mounts.

Peeps, what could be the cause of this knee jerk like response of d40 as I press the accelerator esp after slowing down from hump? My ride is 2010 4wd AT. Tia.
