    Is it really ok to use Matic S spec'd ATF in our a/t? The bottle says Matic S but not Matic J. Matic S supposedly supercedes Matic J but no official info out there. What do you use for the transfer?

    thanks you very much for all those infos, oil leaks in the joint (rubber hose to the aluminum tube) between the turbo and intercooler and it drip to the engine.

    I'm planning to get a turbo from forefrontindustries Australia, a relative can purchase for me and send thru sea cargo.

    Several mos ago was hearing this fanbelt noise and decided to ignore.. Last weekend noise got louder so i decided to check the alternater and thiss what i found..imageuploadedbytsikot-forums1421762906.301488.jpg

    Theyre not.. Ic regulator got damaged, apparently the misaligned shaft sent damaging signal to the regulator..

    Cost of oe regulator P7.5k while NewEra brand is around 1.5-2k but not yet available, so left me no choice but to be P5k poorer.

    Moral of the story, belts should be quiet as a house mouse..

    Sir 12vdc, mine has this like metal grinding noise during starting and it will just go away in a minute or two, I hope it's just the alternator pulley.

    how about the carbon brush, how much does it cost and where we can get all these parts?

    Sir rz, if you have digital voltmeter you could hook it up and check if voltage drops during the noise. If it does, its the oap clutch slipping.

    Mine sounded terribly loud and im pretty sure its the bearing. Voltage however on my scangauge doesn't drop but its erratic doesn't stay at 14.1v

    Brush is available at suking alt shop pero mhaba pa. Yung slip ring kapag naupod palit daw buong commutator. The ic regulator is rare, only honda got the same part. Alternator assy ksama yung oap is worth P75k sa planta. Exy

    Alternator is so expensive! I have found some second hand Nissan Navara gasoline engine alternator (selling price P3000.00) but ampere rating is only 100 Amp and the pulley is somewhat smaller, approximately 54 mm in diameter and width is a bit small and if I'm not mistaken it has only five grooves.

    At least it's brand new again, pwede nang sirain ulit My a/c compressor has been making noises for a while now, just waiting for it to conk out.

    Where do you get your supply of Motul ATF? Autoplus quoted me 1.5K/liter. I think I'll just use this:

    I'm planning to get a turbo from ForefrontIndustries Australia, I don't know how long the current turbo will last or how bad it is. I'll have it check at Nissan to have a professional opinion.

    Have it checked na asap. Learned my lessons the hard way, ginamit kahit may kakaibang sound kaya may na-damage na iba.

    I got mine from Denso shop, same lang sila sa autoplus isa lang supplier nila. Not sure with with Matic S backward compatibility with J, but Motul Multi ATF says Matic S,D,J,K. Im using stick BTW with Motul Gear300 for gearbox. How many k's on the odo?
