sorry for the OT mga sir:
mandatory ba ang DENR sticker sa 2008 purchase outie (other cars)? i will also be asking my SA about this one, pero atleast may opinion ako from the real outie tribe. ano po ba yung VIN? just in case mandatory po ang mga stickers na 'to, saan po ba pina-process ang issuance nito? thanks..
another OT:
one time may naka-sabay ako sa SLEX, outie from AMCAR. nung magkatapat kami while driving, bumusina ako ng 2x and likewise he did the same thing.. hehehe what a nice gesture among outie owners..
the DENR sticker in the windshield is already there when we got the unit. mitsu phil is the one responsible for the processing of this. yun VIN is vehicle identification number, a unique serial number used by the automotive industry to identify individual motor vehicles.
DENR stickers should already be there in the windshield when you take a new vehicle out. VIN is Vehicle Identification Number. Every vehicle has one, to distinguish it from another, and also to track its history/record.
Sir, I also got my unit from Citimotors in P. Tamo and unfortunately, I've had a very bad experience with them. Worse, useless din yung SA ko. I told him about this problem and he said he will get back to me. Awa ng Diyos, wala pa resulta and that was about 3 weeks ago.
Please, pakibalita naman kung anong mangyayari.
Good luck sir.
Thank you!!
From Citimotors din ang Outie ko... Wala pa rin yung plate ko pa3weeks na this day.
*uncle_bob
*carchase
sent you a pm!
let's hear the story from uncle bob! baka naubusan din ng gasolina? ako from qc area din, but had to go all the way to paco to get an outie!
1. mongaddi - Union Motors Otis (with P500 fee)
2. meldy12 - Diamond Motors Corp Quezon Ave (they were so accomodating when i brought my unit. they even called me thru my mobile to update the status of replacement. ok na sana except that when i got my unit, ang dumi ng flooring ng unit ko. they still need to improve their quality of service)
3. batangmahal - Union Motor Corp. (Otis) - free of charge. tint on all windows were changed, for free too!
4. Jazon - Motorplaza Baguio - free of charge din... all windows din were changed..
5. carchase - SFM Lipa - free of charge, replaced tint, galing ng service nila may free carwash pa.
6. lemmor912 - Carworld San Fernando - warranty including 2 front window tint, very satisfied with the service. disappointed lang kinabukasan when I noticed na may blade cut front right weatherstrip, di sinabi ng tint installer ng winterpine na nadamage nila. kailangan ulit iorder 1 weatherstrip.
Sorry I have been quite busy and I haven't had the chance to open this forum. It's a long story. . . Anyway, ganito kasi yun. . .
When I found out that the Outlander was coming out with a 2.4 version, I got interested and started to look around. I told the agents that if they can sell my Ford Explorer, I will get an Outlander from them. I had two chances, 1 with the dealership in Libis and the other, Citimotors. Both offered about the same for the Explorer and since the SA at Citimotors is a friend of my nephew, sabi ko dun na lang ako kukuha. I was hoping syempre na maalagaan ako and at the same time maka tulong din ako sa kanya. BIG MISTAKE.
On the on-set, when I finally got my Outlander, wala pa lang kasamang tools (i.e. pliers, screwdriver, wrenches and the like). I will give you the tools (as thank you I guess). Where is it now? God knows. . . I also showed my disappointment with the beige interiors and the SA again offered to give me seat covers. Eh nasaan na? Ewan. . . So that was that. I had my covers made by seat pro. Nice work for 4.5k. I also got my plates around 5 weeks after I got delivery of my unit. The car was not properly PDI (pre-delivery inspection). They just did a really lousy job. Madumi ung pag punas ng tint. . . Ung talsik ng wax was all over the car, and the like.
Next. . . On my 1000 km check up, I brought it in sabay kabit na ng plates. Because I'm scared na manakawan ng plates, I provided my own stainless steel button head allen screws (para mahirapan naman ung mag attempt magnakaw). I specifically told them to use it and even provided the allen key. May nangyari ba? Wala. I also had a problem with the rear plates kasi one of the nut-sert was loose and they said they had to open the rear panel para mapigilan ung ikot ng nut. They never fixed it though kasi when I installed my allen screws, maluwag pa din. Mga bobo! Di nila alam ayusin yung kasimple-simpleng bagay. Eto pa. . . When I was installing the plates, napansin ko din that the area around the rear plates paint got blurred, para bang na-rubbing or liniha ng pinong liha. WTF???!!!
That's not it yet. . . When I picked up my unit after the 1000k service, I checked around and inside the car. The driver's side arm rest was stained, may grease sa may bottom side ng door (from shoes i guess). So after their futile attempt of cleaning it up, my wife and I finally left the dealership in disgust. Mga 5pm na din yun and I just wanted to go home.
On the drive home, I was telling my wife, parang iba yung tunog ah?! Humahagok. . . (Alam nyo yun? The sound you hear when you remove the air filter and you rev it?) But I dismissed it and thought baka naninibago lang ako. Besides, ganda ng tunog eh. . . Humahagok nga eh. . . The following morning, I noticed the sound again on my way to the office and I thought, ano na naman ito? As much as I was enjoying the sound, d naman ganun dati eh. I finally got to the office and checked it out. . . Ok ba, apparently they opened to check the air filter and did not close it properly, nka buka kung baga. P.I. talaga oh. . . So I checked around the car again and saw a step mark ng shoes sa tapalodo ng front passenger side.
By this time I was furious and so I called them up to set an appointment to show them my complaints.
uncle_bob: pwedeng telenovela ang experience mo!! joking aside, walang q.a. talaga ang mga car dealer, if not all, most of them. i myself experienced some of the things that happen sa iyo. ang dumi ang interior ko on several occasions. pa QA QA pa sila hindi naman nila magawa ng tama ang job nila. one of my fender got a small 3 bubbles as a result of stain probably from brake fluid when i have my regular maintenance sa casa. init din ulo ko. i just cursed those careless worker responsible for this. mga SA, magaling lang during sales but after sales, parang bula sila naglaho. anyway, charge to experience.
abangan namin ang continuation ng story mo!!!
grabe ang story ni uncle_bob! that is why pag ako ang nagpapa-service, i usually loiter around the casa, even inside the repair area, at kina-kaibigan ko lahat ng tao dun. so far, i'm satisfied with the service of union motor sa paco.
