Does it mean dapat antayin muna mag ka scratch bago nila palitan ? di ba lahat ng outie may ganyang problem?

I cannot answer for MMPC. Better to contact your SA, sila ang makakasagot nyan, just relaying the info given to me by the Service Center to fellow Outie owners.

they asked me to pay 500 pesos for the service of removing the old tint! my wife was too tired to argue about this and just paid.

initially they were charging 1k+!!!!!

my outie is still in the casa and will be picked up tomorrow.

they even warned us that baka magasgas ang window from removing the old tint!

naunahan nyo ako sir mon! i will have mine replaced on friday pa. in-order pa nga raw ang replacement parts. but like you, kinulit ko na lang ang SA ko and no need for the report. matagal na nga rin daw na alam ng planta ang problema, di nga lang makapagbigay ng kaukulang pansin dahil sa wala pa ang mga parts recently.

i will see if i could have the tint replaced without being charged.

I had my weather strips changed earlier today. There were two other Outies who had theirs changed too. Covered ito ng warranty so, free of charge. Also, the tint on all my windows have been replaced. Free of charge din!

For all Outie owners, go now to your nearest dealership and demand for a change of the weather strips. Sa Union Motor sa Otis, matutulungin ang mga Service Advisors dun. Good job guys!

Kaya lang, because of the new tint, I won't be able to open my windows yet, for the next three days at least!

are 2008 models included in the recall...a guy who bought his outie same day as I did, got a 2007 model (I showed him the DENR sticker and VIN) and he hasnt gotten a call from the dealer...

AFAIK, both 07 and 08 models are included in the free change of the weather strip. and don't expect any call from the dealer, rather be aggressive in pursuing this matter with your dealer.

uh ndi... pano ba explain... kasi yung old weatherstrips ko mas "madami" natatakpan sa door... so nung inalis yun may naiwan na mark diba... eh yung pinalit mas maikli.. nakikita ko yung mark nung lumang strip

did you see the old weather strips and compare it with the new ones din? i was looking into my new weather strips kanina, and it seems like mas maiksi nga, both width and even length (that is, yung felt part covering windows, sa may labas).

advice lang sa iba, lagi nyong kulitin ang SA nyo kung gusto nyo mapalitan ang weather strips nyo

mukang mas ok ang service ng diamond at tinawagan pa kayo. pero ok na din ang union...

almost the same ang mga dealer. difference is not so much. lamang lang ng isang paligo this time ang diamond motor
