this i must say, sir, is one of the mysteries hounding MMPC on why they can't do it... i had been waiting for that since 2006-2007 actually... haiz

IMO, too late na. the Tucson has already conquered the small SUV market. i also that post at another forum that according to "his" reliable source, that it will cost 1.2M for the basic 4x2 variant... heck, the tucson is waaaaaay lower than that at just a notch below P1m for its basic 4x2 variant.

unless... a country within the ASEAN is willing to produce this model to enjoy the perks... the question is Which Country...???

i like the rear... although nawala na yung tail gate gaya ng outie. maganda rin yung combination ng makina at katawan.

sir ian, this is smaller compared to an outie? but the outie is already a compact suv right? in the article kasi, it says, mid-size.

This is what happens when a Lancer EX goes to bed with a Monterosport. or a Fuzion.

yes, sir... no more tailgate parties then... hehehe...

*BM, IMO, this is a subcompact SUV likely to be in the ranks of the Hyundai Tucson/Nissan Qashqai. Then probably the Outlander may move a step up in size quite similar to that of the Hyundai Sta. Fe or close to that...

if they launch it here with the same specs as its japanese counterpart.....I think they would just have to erase the lancer EX in their lineup considering the price and the engine...

So I surely hope MMPC is already cooking something good to turn the game on with HARI.....Starting with the application of the Clean Diesel engines

u have a point there brader. in fact, if the RVR will well like hotcakes just in case while the locally produced Lancer EX will also be offered at the same time, sales people will tend to push in selling the later in order to save the jobs of MMPC plant workers. This was the scenario about 3 years ago when Toyota was producing the Altis and the Vios then was being imported. A lot of buyers were rooting for the Vios and the Altis was being left out with its decreasing demand.

The 4N1 clean diesels... is probably ungoing another delaying tactic by MMC Japan... and i don't know why! but i hope it would be for a good reason... to enhance its compatibility with our fuel.

Mas kahawig nya ang 2010 Audi Q7 (with an upside-down grill) sa harap at 2010 Q5 naman sa likod. At napansin ko sa upper inner margin ng headlight sa picture mukhang may LED din, pang DRL siguro
