    Sirs,

I texted a MMPC Engineer of Customer Service Dept. According to him the replacement parts inner weatherstrip are already available at MMPC. You can coordinate with your dealership so they can order the parts needed. I already coordinated with my dealer and they are already processing the parts order.

As a gesture of goodwill, MMPC should recall all 2007 Outlanders and replace these with the latest generation Pajero........OK ba yan mga boys?

Newbie here! and yep we have the same freakin problem as you guys... and it's on the driver's side and at the rear right window! We did not notice it agad before. Kala ko konti lang ganun ang problem, coz my tita also has some scratches on her outlander. We already complained pro, pinapaikot ikot lang kami so far. What's up with that?!

congrats sir jazon! you deserve it! ikaw ata ang unang una nagreport nyan dito sa atin. hehe

dapat walang bayad ang re-tint nyan.

yung usapan namin dati, lagyan muna nila ng pangit na tint nung release ng car, tapos pag aayusin na, 3M na yung ilalagay

my weatherstrips have been replaced already... yung inner weatherstrips kung san dumadaan yung window.. the black thingy is made of hard plastic kung san dumadaan yung glass pag binababa natin...

they changed it in such a way na felt paper type of material yung dadaanan nung glass natin...

i havent had the chance to remove my tint kasi medyo kulang na sa oras...

sa monday papalitan din nila ng 3M.. dun ko na talaga ma test if there will be no more scratches na mag pop up in the tint

I had mine replaced also yesterday sa may Mitsu Service center sa may Balintawak.

Felt material na yun inner part nun weatherstrip. Front and rear parts replaced. Tint not yet replaced.

I talked to the Service advisor and he told me that Outie owners could just bring their Outies sa service center nila(even if purchased somewhere else) for them to verify the scratching of the tint. They could then place an order for the inner weatherstrip and install after 3 days (time for the warehouse to deliver).

Kailangan daw makita muna nun parts engineer kung may scratching sa tint talaga bago i-replace yun part. Kahit isa lang daw yun window na may scratches papalitan lahat.

    Hope this helps.

If it is dealer installed then it should be covered by the warranty.

I haven't talked to my Sales rep regarding the tint but the serveice center advised me to have the tint replaced by the dealer.

they asked me to pay 500 pesos for the service of removing the old tint! my wife was too tired to argue about this and just paid.

    initially they were charging 1k+!!!!!

my outie is still in the casa and will be picked up tomorrow.

they even warned us that baka magasgas ang window from removing the old tint!

That's just bad service man. It was their fault in the first place, and so they should shoulder the cost of replacing it.

The casa's warning for the scratches is just an excuse if ever a lousy job has been performed. Plastic palettes are used to lift the tint from the window. I'm also using this tool to lift stickers from my windshield and never have I encountered any scratches from it.

Hope they do a good job on your Outie.

Does it mean dapat antayin muna mag ka scratch bago nila palitan ? di ba lahat ng outie may ganyang problem?
