that it is DIESEL sir...this may sound funny but it happened to me already..buti nalang multicab dala ko, since I always drive the strada, diesel tuloy napalagay ko sa multicab one time..

Hi!

While browsing the past forum, I come across to the topics saying that Strada are fitted with built in Turbo timer. By checking the remote locking key( while engine running iddle press the right side button, after the indicator & alarm sounded, pwede switch off & bunutin ang key & engine will be running for one minute then shut off, functioning like turbo timer). I did it to my truck ( 2009 3.2 l A/T) last night but nothing happen, I tried 3 times ,same thing.
Any Idea if this model not equipped with said built in turbo timer that they are talking about???

sir RTS, only the first few models of the GLS were equipped with this feature. basically these are the 96-97 release, the first batch of stradas to arrive. it actually included a remote engine start, engine over-ride kill switch(pag sinira yung susian mo), the built in turbo timer and i forget what else... actually marami tinanggal sa first batch na hindi na makikita sa mga succeding units like the ABS EBD.

Sir Arvin, mine has ABS, EBD & LSD-Hybrid Type (Limited Slip Differential) - dont know what the heck this mean! hehehe..

sir arvin is referring to the past GLS models po na kumpleto including OEM turbo timer....yung 2.5 po ang engine....

yung kasing mga bagong GLS ngayun is wala ng EBD=Electronic Brake Distribution, ABS=Anti Lock Brake System, saka LSD=Limited Slip Diffrential

yung GLS sport nalang po ang meron ngayun nung mga nabangit ni sir arvin..na kamuka ng sa inyo... ang pagkakaiba lang is wala ng override kill switch,autostart saka OEM na turbo timer ngayon kahit na GLS sports pa...

the built in turbo timer is applicable only for the late 2006 and selected early 2007 models. MMPC removed the turbo timer when they released the later models

May tanong ako. Okay lang ba na isabak na kaagad ang 1month old 4x4 strada (2500km odo) sa very rough terrain ng twice a week? Yung terrain ay parang paakyat ng baguio via kennon, except that rough (mabato) talaga yung road instead of paved.


Although alam ko naman na kayang kaya ng strada natin, ang worry ko lang ay baka mabigla yung strada or maapektuhan yung engine life niya in the long run kapag isinabak kaagad. What do you think good sirs??

kayang-kaya yan kung engine lang naman ang concern mo since tapos na ang break-in period mo. pero parusa sa stock tires mo yan and you might want to put a thicker bash plate...

pero come to think of it, almost a year inabuso ni arvin yung stock strada niya before he upgraded his tires (he brings his strada to his quarry site EVERYDAY!) hanggang ngayon superb condition pa strada niya. so dont worry, kayang-kaya ng strada yan!
