hi sir, just wondering if your 2010 GLS SPORT 3.2L A/T? coz i placed my order/reservation for gls sport a/t 2 months ago but unfortunately, until now the unit still not available, my SA told me na parating pa lang mga automatic.. thats why, i made a reservation for Montero too so that which ever comes first, i will get it..

Sir Out, I was in Diamond Motors this morning and I saw 2 GLS Sport there, 1 is in the showroom and the other one is having its 1k PMS. That means matagal nang may narelease na said variant. Both are in Metallic Brown color. You can text an SA i met there Vi Zoleta - 09178306424. I will be in Cebu on November 12, I hope may Strada ka na by that time, hehehehe joke lang no pressure.

although compared from the picture that was posted by sir Boz of a 2010 GLX from SFM, the two that i saw here had a pair of reflectors at the rear bumper! 2010 GLS and GLS Sport models have the foglamps already.

can anyone can confirm the reflectors are standard on the 2010 GLX? 5dreamers? nanofossil? TIA...

Sir, those are fog lamps and they are only standard on a 2010 GLS Sport. Balak ko rin magpalagay pero gusto ko clear lang para pangdadag ilaw pag rereverse ako.

There is a new color, metallic brown as they call it but to me its more on the beige side. Unfortunately it is only available on the highest variant which is the the gls sport. At first nakaka excite ang kulay nya since bago, but while i was staring at it beside my black mistress, mas may dating pa rin ang black. Goodluck pare, whatever color you choose, siguradong astig pa rin dahil Strada yan.

mukhang di ako makakasama sa pa dinner mo sir out cause i'll be leaving the next day, thursday. daming work dito kasi sa manila di ko maiwan. anyway i really hope you get your strada na. you have been waiting quite awhile na rin. syangapala, you might want to reconsider removing the body moulding once you get your gls sport. lr777 told me that there is a whole on the doors that supports the mouldings. maghahanap na lang ako sa banawe at di ko na aabangan ang tatanggalin mo.

Pano nyo ba sir inaalagaan ang pintura ng strada nyo? Sakin kasi sobrang dungis na dahil sa kakaulan nitong nakaraang araw at medyo maputik sa lugar namin. Ginawa ko kahapon since nagawi ako sa megamall eh pinalinis ko muna dun para lang mag mukhang bago ulit yung itsura nya. Nalinis naman sya in fairness pero napansin ko lang medyo nagkaroon ng circular pattern yung pintura kung titignan mo ng sobrang todo. Naisip ko tuloy, dapat pinalinis ko na lang sa mga experts. Matanong ko lang kung ok ba dun sa bigberts at yung optiguard nila? Ok ba yun? thanks.

3. steering wheel makes intermittent rattling sound
4. tick sound in the windshield

think twice in buying.. as i noticed, the materials used were sub standard. that's why strada is cheaper than the other brand.

yeah, ok yung optiguard ng Bigberts. pulido sila magtrabaho and you will be satisfied sa pag-maintain nila. minor swirl marks will be gone and the luster will definitely be back

Yup and that the main reason why I've zeroed in with the strada aside from the good reviews, price wise napag-iiwanan ang ibang pick in its class. Anyway been back reading this thread for a very long time and learned a lot from this.

Just this afternoon 'made a reservation for 1 unit but cannot decide which color to get...Still have to sit down with wifey and kids about it 'hope by next month I'll be controlling the steering wheel of the most sought after pick up......black, silver, red, white whatever we decided, it's strada.

sir, i beg to disagree on your statement regarding "strada is cheaper than the other brand"... i would say STRADA IS WAY REASONABLE THAN THE OTHER BRAND"

anyway sir, the unfortunate things that you have on your strada can be easily corrected at any mitsucasa..

dont be disappointed too much on your strada, instead be glad that you have it coz i just read the news paper this morning that the strada is miles away as the people choice in all other trucks/pick-ups here in the philippines!

hello sir and welcome to the strada thread. we respect your opinion regarding your personal observation on the vehicle that you bought with your hard earned money. on your post you seem to compare the strada with the other brand, may we know from where did you compare the strada? baka naman sa f-150, cheap talaga ang dating ng strada hehehe.

also, you can talk with your dealer for the possible 'correction' of your observations... under warranty pa naman yan. anong branch po ba ng diamond motors mo nakuha yung unit mo?

lastly, may we know the color of the strada that you bought and your location as well? if you are willing to sell your strada, there is a lot of people interested to get a bargain... we might be able to help you dispose of your problem

[SIZE="3"]Old issue...it has been easily remedied so many times by all the casa's

oil here and there...observe for a few days then if it comes back...install the silencer kit then VOILA! sound is gone...[/SIZE]

3. steering wheel makes intermittent rattling sound

[SIZE="3"]what do you mean by rattling sound? because if its rattling meaning rattling like a rattle snake. well, its a new issue, but if the rattle your referring to is like a tick tock sound just like when your stretching your shoulders in the morning then the casa has a solution for that already.......

they will first install a clamp.....after a few days if it still persist...they will replace the whole steering column....which was already done with my unit just like the owners and BOSb's...

this is the one that they will replace...[/SIZE]

4. tick sound in the windshield

Im pretty sure in the long run....you will still realize that you made the right choice....because like me, before I thought of buying the strada I've analyze each of the problems that can occur on all of the other trucks in my choices....Still, I ended up in choosing the strada as its problems was all easily remedied by the dealerships.....unlike the other brands, when the problems occur the dealerships doesn't even know how to fix it.

wonderfully put parekoy!!, we're here to help other owners, be they members of the club or not. just so that we can still maintain the fact that our strada is a good investment time wise and money wise, and that majority if not all of the complaints already have remedies and solutions to them.

thanks for posting your feedback on your new ride. Have you consulted your Service advisor about your observations? Have them try to fix your problem kasi those are something new except for #2. I also noticed they are all more on sounds that you are complaining about. For #3, where is the sound coming from, because if i wear a watch and driving on not so smooth road, i also hear noises of rattling *something*, but it turns out it was my watch. Rattling sounds can always be cured, maybe meron lang loose screws somewhere. I was driving my Strada to Baguio one time, then suddenly, i heard a lot of rattling sound below the steering wheel. so of course, what do you do, you put pressure on different parts of the dashboard to find where the noise is coming from, lo and behold, one screw fell off, maybe the personnel in banawe wasn't able to screw it tight when he was installing something. a quick turn to the right with a screw driver, wala, no more noise, no more rattling sound.

sir, my opinion, those are minor problem that can be easily rectified. ako nga transmission ko ang may problem, less than a month pa lang, napalitan agad, i wanted to return it, good thing i didn't cause i am loving my ride everyday. A balance of power, looks, comfort, and happiness!

Let me borrow another tsikoteers post with some modifications.

there is no perfect car.

either you choose the Strada or others, you will enjoy your choice. (if not, what a waste of money).

but choose the one you imagine yourself driving without thinking about "what if I got myself the other vehicle instead of this one"? this is tragic.

Go and follow your heart's desire.
