Wow, wider tires... i hope its 245 na and not 205.

Pare, pareho tayo, I already gave a reservation for the new Strada. I don't like also the front grill design, but if you are going to look at it, you can replace that with a different one, like a honeycomb grill as seen in other pictures.

Wishlist for the 2010 Strada GLX variant:
    1. Wider tires and mags, preferrably 245/65/17
    2. New mags design
    3. Audio remote control
    4. Front arm rest
    5. Fender flares
    6. Black window sash

Alin kaya dito ang magkakatotoo? Thanks!

hmmmmmmmmmm... considering that others are also "in love" with the honeycomb grille...

    (((IMO)))

inasmuchas i want to read the minds of MMPC's product planners, lets say the honeycomb grille is reserved for a future upgrade or limited edition of any of the present variants.

the upcoming horizontal grille is a sign that MMPC wants make it consistent interms of its fascia with the rest with the Pajero, Adventure and even the Fuzion in that case.

HOWEVER, this puts the Montero Sport's semi vertical bling-bling grille out of place! :peace:

Guys, correct if I'm wrong, but isn't the 2010 grill is designed in a way that the center mitsubishi logo is attached to the whole grill, and that it can be removed as a whole and be replaced with a different one? All we have to is look for an after market 2010 adaptable grill design that incorporates honeycomb grill.

i have that question in my mind also, kasi as nakita ko sa pics parang as one yung logo ang yung grill, so pag detach mo yung logo same din sa grill? i hope its not like this. or maybe my eyes got problems lang hehe

*OUT-101, please don't fret over the front grille... i'm sure there will be aftermarket items out there that can produce the honeycomb grille for you...

OT: sir dadz, thinking aloud: how much is the OEM ThDM honeycomb grille and to ship it here? would it have the same mounting brackets?

*nanofossil, it is a case-to-case basis for the Mitsubishi logo on the grille. it may no longer have the "Mt. Fuji triangle" background but instead a black background similar to a blackened window sash. a closer look is perhaps better for you to assess. HTH.

The one posted by truckesh is the Malaysian facelift of Triton just recently launched there. Long cargo bed with the same engine specs. The archy fenders are of the same with body colour.
Kunti lang ang changes, that means Strada is still competive locally in terms of sale, it's unwise for Mitsu to bring 'em here the UK/Australian version that would be pricey considering that 2.5L 175 bhp most powerful in its class. Wala na sanang masasabi ang Nav.

OT: for the sorento, I think they will launch it this year but it will only come only with the gas variant because as what TK said the diesel engine of the koreans cannot ingest our fuel here(blame it om the german organs)...
same case with the newly facelifted santa Fe.

if you want the honeycomb I would suggest that you buy na the current model because Im quite sure that the honeycomb grills would have the same mounting as the stock grills of the current model....yun nga lang the bumper would still remain the same..

how ever there is a big avantage in modding the facelifted one in terms of changing the front bumpers with the steel type, because you wouldn't need to trim the bumper anymore. its just plug and play in the road because of the new grill which solely attached in the front fascia which leads to the elimination of the mount fuji grill that is present in the current one.
