welcome to the thread sir romwell and congratulations on your purchase sa bago mong strada... from where are you and what color ang kinuha mo?
sa freebies na nakuha mo, ok na rin yan... but you might want to ask for a 3m full tint para walang putol. and rain gutters kung kaya mo pa i-negotiate sa SA mo... saan pala ang dealer mo?
for GLX models without replacing the rims, puede kang bumili ng mas malapad ng konti... one of the Strada club members bought the stock gls tires and installed them sa stock glx mags... ok naman for added traction.
let me take this opportunity na rin to invite you to be a member of The Strada Club of the Philippines. you can learn a lot from the members (we call ourselves collectively as Band of Strada Brothers and Sisters - BOSBS) and we can learn din from you... but the bottom thing is for the members to have fun! please visit this link for more details: http://tsikot.yehey.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=119
hope to see you in the future! drive inspired!

dali lang yan...kahit bigger tires lang chief! hindi naman kailangan rin ng ganun ka lapad but it would be nicer. alam ko marami dito nagbebenta ng stock na rims nila sa gls or gls sport. pwede rin, get the tall tires lang but not necessarily wider para aussie outback look naman.
subukan mo pilitin un SA mo if pwede na isama ang factory fog lamps ng gls or kahit may discount man lang para ma complete mo rin yung look. congrats on your new ride!

ericsiomai: standard na ang fog lights for GLX model.
romwell: congrats on your new ride. You made a great choice. You can keep your stock mags and upgrade to 245/70/16 tires.
i also see that you have undercoating. Just make sure they really apply that undercoating because our trucks have 3 years guarantee on rust, that why most of us did not have that done.
as thepatriarch mentioned, try getting window visors and other freebies. most of the things you mentioned is already a standard freebies except for your 3 years tpl coverage.
Hope you can join the club.

Yesterday afternoon, my two kids requested to test drive the Strada offroad. Kagagaling lang sa carwash mapapasabak na naman sa putik hehe. We drove to the mining grounds and my kids had a good time driving the Strada.
Here are pics from yesterday’s offroad driving.
Driving the Strada yesterday on rough road made the leaf springs squeaky again. So it is not the sand particles lodged in between springs that made the springs noisy as I had earlier thought as we did not cross a sandy stream of water yesterday like I did the other day. This morning I applied a generous amount of WD-40 on the leaf springs and the squeaky noise seems to have disappeared. I hope it did as the noise is irritating considering that the car is new. My very first car was also a pick-up (Nissan SD23) and its leaf springs never had this squeaky noise problem.
