Sir Dadz, 2 inch increase outright just by installing these shock absorbers?
what are the effects e.g. ride comfort, handling, etc.?
    How much?

    Many thanks

Pagpinihit ko ang steering, may konting click na naririnig na parang metal hitting metal. pagpihit ko balik wala naman. pagpinihit ka uli meron namang maririnig.

*Boz and fellow BOSBs at the fun run, musta na po? how was your FC during the Fun Run? hehehehe... yup, it may not be accurate but any figure based on your observations would be informational... thanks

    Fellow BOSBs, tsikoteers and lurkers,

Regarding this facelift on the Strada/Triton series, i must say that i am in favor of this design. i am also aware that not everyone is in favor of this- in fact i saw mixed reactions on this. But IMO, this is a step in the right direction. Heres why:

    1. This design is more in tune with the current theme of Mitsubishi Motors.
When the Strada first came out in 2005 in thailand, the first question i asked myself was WHY did MMC include the Mt. Fuji grille initiated by Oliver Boulay when it was actually designed by Akinori Nakanishi? Perhaps, it may have taken a little time for the public to slowly transition itself back to the design of the japanese. It is in fact the first vehicle redesign to be executed after the DaimlerChrysler divorce. the horizontal chrome bars reflects the design theme found on the current Pajero BK series. Horizontal is IN, (almost) Vertical is OUT

    2. The design is better off during a frontal impact.
Since the Mt. Fuji grille is gone, the strada will have a complete headlamp-to-headlamp grille. this will allow the bumper to be "bumped" first. also, from the picture, it seems that the bumper has been moved a bit forward too.

    3. The design has an emphasized license plate frame.
As compared to the current one, parang kulang yung bracket so when a plate is screwed in, it actually looks "bitin" to me.

    4. It is timely.
The current one now has been around since 2005 despite its Philippine debut was delayed by a little more than a year- September 2006. and like the (i think) Honda Civic which was also introduced in that same year too, a facelift is also anticipated.

malay natin... baka mag-ka INVECS-II Sportronic na rin ang strada... a market first! hehehe

with all these reasons... here comes a question:
Why did they not implement the horizonal grille on the Montero Sport in the first place???

But irregardless when MMPC with introduce it or not, the Strada will always be a Strada... Tough and Dependable! Yun nga lang i hope they will address the current issues hounding it!

average consumption ko during the trip was around 10++km/ltr, including pa niyan yung entire time na naka 4L ako sa river and towing. condition ng engine plays a big thing sa FC and also the driving habits

sir rb, pareho ang computation naten, during our fun run it came out with my computation, bale actual po yun sa hill climbing, city run, at hi-way hatawan run at 160 - 170 kmh at sctex bale 9.9 km per hour po ang lumabas na consumption ni strada. bale inregardless of the kind of terrain po yan......pwede na hehehe kahit 7km/hr pa yan basta masaya at nag enjoy tyo.......and na prove naten how our truck "our strada" handle those rocky and matarik na kabundukan dun sa sto. tomas radar "mt. cabuyao" yahoooooo........ang saya saya anu.........c u guys........

Re: Fuel Consumption during the Baguio Fun Run, mukhang sa akin ang pinakamatakaw. On my 3.2 A/T, I registered only 8.2 km/L all throughout the fun run, sa paglabas ko sa garahe ng bahay hanggang pagbalik.

I noted that the worse part of the fuel consumption was during the trailing and the river bank crossing where the 4L was occassionally engaged. The FC on the display dipped down to only 6+km/L from about 9+.

Well that was expected, and of course, no regrets. The thrill and frill of our fun run cannot be equated to money.
