hi guys whats up?, just spoke to my bro back home and so far so good naman daw yong strada, it has only covered 600plus kms so medya medya daw muna yong piga 160kph limit til the 1000kms pms.
by the way one thing i'm curious about, how accurate be itong MID ng strada? can you really rely on it esp. with the fuel-km computer?
sabi din ng brother ko at 150kph it says 14kms/liter, it's weird isn't it? dapat lalakas yong consumption at high speed di po ba?has any body there with the same reading? 3.2 m/t
i drive ford focus here and i can say with it's MID it is pretty much reliable, i have tested the trip computer to '0 miles to empty' pero nakatakbo pa rin ng mga 5 miles to gas station.
thanks for the reply bro. in fact yon din ang advised ko sa bro ko, pero chief mechanic ng casa had told him to limit to that speed muna, to be safe. sabi din kasi ng bro ko ang 160kph sa 3.2 para lang daw naka 90kph sa dati naming strada 03. la daw ka pwersa pwersa abutin. that's according to himcan't attest till i drove it myself.
i'm impressed with the reading you've shown bro, 40km/'L * 36km/h, that is brilliant, dmax owners are claiming well more likely bragging with their 40km/L* 30km/h, you wouldn't mind if post this pic at isuzu dmax's thread would you? hehe joke lang. btw those figures about 80km/h * 15km/l and 100km/h are pretty much realistic. thanks for sharing this bro, i will have my brother checked this out para ma compare niya with your MID's reading.![]()
Hmmm... meron pala talaga nyan.
Well, over time, in driving an auto tranny, one will learn how to deliberately shift to a higher or lower gear using the accelerator pedal, as bro Dadz have mentioned earlier. This maneuver can be used to help improve one's fuel consumption.![]()

hi ooba99,
yep, have it in my mazda. as the others said, quite useful when driving in activematic mode. i use the manual mode 99% of the time in my car.
pero nasasanay nako sa strada iadjust yung tapak ng pedal. medyo mas smooth na yung driving ko ngayon. yun nga lang naspoil ako sa mazda. even with the rainsensing wiper sensors. hehehe. ngayon balik adjust ako everytime nagbabago yung bagsak ng ulan.
no big deal. di ko naman naexpect sa pickup yan. in fact, i'm very impressed with the transition. i was expecting a couple of months. first week pa lang, wala na yung kaba ko, even sa tight parking... park na lang sa malayohahaha, honestly, it's almost like driving a car... kaya meron din ako car-like expectations... which is a good indication as i think this is what the strada is all about, that a pickup need not be all utilitarian. dami na-impress sa interior ng strada pati na rin yung level of clatter ng diesel...
can't wait to experience the turbo kick on this puppy. 750kms to go...![]()
Good day, quote ko lang dito yung post ko sa kabilang thread about inquiries sa Strada, baka mas maraming sumagot.thanks!
