its normal, everyone experiences that...dont compare a pickup truck with a car, totally different ang steering mechanism ninya and suspension. sir thepatriarch is right on his comment.

congrats sir..nice ride... hope we get to see it personally.. btw, i foresee a lot of people asking you details on your rims and tires, sir if you can, post the prices. and if you can, include your pic sa thread on strada modifications as it would be useful for future forumers.

Sir rjm00, if you are traveling at a speed of about 30kph and more and turn either to the left or to the right, the steering wheel will turn at its own just you have to assist to get the correct direction but if in slower speed then you have to do it in your full effort.

where did you buy the wider rims? if outside, logic would dictate na sila dapat ang mag-align and magbalance ng wheels mo. kung sa casa, may karapatan ka mag-react. camber is another story...

to add, if you replace your rims to a wider one without the knowledge and consent ng casa, do expect that they will void your warranty sa suspension mo as numerously discussed here. hope this helps.

    Hi Guys.

I just want to update you with my strada which I got almost a month ago only.

Currently it has only logged about 380kms and I have seen the problems which you guys have mentioned earlier.

The first is the uneven height of the strada. I went to the casa to have it checked since it was visually noticable. So to confirm this point, I let the casa measure and there was a difference of about 18mm between the left front and right front. As for the rear the difference was 15mm between the left and right side. The recommendation of the plant is to have another check up during the 1kPMS and they will decide what to do after. As per the informaiton of the tech. adviser, the max tolerance should be 15mm only.

The second is the squeaking sound coming from the right leaf spring. I also mentioned this to the tech adviser and they will also check during the 1k PMS. I mentioned to him regarding the silencer kit which you guys mentioned and he said that he will check if the leaf springs have been upgraded to have such kit. If not then they will just have to install the kit during the 1k PMS.

As for the rest of the experience with the strada, it has been just great! The ride is very good and the engine is quite responsive and you can really feel the potential. It's a bit frustrating to keep it below 100kph for now knowing it can just easily pass this speed easily.

I just want to thank this forum for all the information which proved quite important when I discussed the problems with the tech adviser.

More power to all of you guys.

    Thanks!

Wheel alignment is not included in the warranty. I had mine re-aligned 6 months after I got it and the values were way-off. You can have it done in any Servitek or wheel alignment center. They may even do a better job. It's one of their specialties.

Bro, will you recommend Servitek (A. Borja Motors) sa Maharlika Hiway, San Pablo? O sa Minerva?

Sa Minerva ako when it comes to alignment. Maganda service doon. Sa A. Borja, di ko pa nasusubukan kahit mas malapit yung haus ko dun.
